I think it's fair to say this is brand new mate.
Just in case anyone stumbles in here who doesn't want to be spoiled though, I suggest we all use spoiler tags when it comes to discussing the specifics that are revealed.
The first thing of note is that the "KITT Cave" does indeed appear to be a high tech maintenance area rather than a carbon copy of the Bat Cave.
The second is that the Attack KITT seen by
JaimeTheKing appears to be the real deal. The good news is that looks a lot better in motion than it did in the still photography. Unfortunately though, it has a definite Fast and the Furious vibe to it thanks to the blue neon’s that are underneath it.
The third is the transformation process. It would appear that rather than the nano shifting process from the pilot, we're now going to get a very Transformers esq. change, as evidenced by KITT arriving as an F-150 pickup truck, and then mechanically transforming into the Shelby once Michael and Sarah are in the bed. I'm not really sure what to make of this since it's apparent that real world physics are no longer applicable to the Knight Industries Three Thousand in terms of mass and volume, but on the face of it, the transformation sequence does look rather good.
And finally, for the eagle eyed, there is a nice tip of the hat to the semi in the original series, albeit with super bikes. Still, all in all, aside from the Attack KITT, which I'm still not sold on, the changes appear to make for a visually appealing world. Only time will tell whether the substance of the stories will be up to snuff in comparison to the visual effects.

Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.
Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

if anyone can host this on YouTube or make a QuickTime file, you'ld get a big hug from me.
NBC chose the worst time as I'm on a plane with no flash access (just quicktime) will be landing in 5-6 hrs (if we ever get off the ground). Going to be a long flight.
so he is now michael knight, Ki3t DOES have the lights underneath as i suggested in another thread (pick and mix...) and also transforms into other FORD variants other than 'another mustang' again, something i was hoping for shortly after seeing the pilot and im glad one thing they have brought from the 'batcave' to the KITTcave is the revolving platform, nice touch...

No sign of the 'turbo boost' yet though but i like the pace of this offering

Thanks for clearing that up, I'm on a laptop and sometimes things are hard to hear.
I thought it looked like something had gone wrong.

I'm about to leave, but seeing this has me jazzed up, yet, strangely, a bit of a letdown since i figured I'd be seeing this tomorrow. loved the "KITT cave' though.
KITT: I walked right into that one, didn't I?
Michael: More like Turbo Boosted.

yea, I was hoping for something tmw too, so maybe they'll have something more there?
Michael Pajaro sent me a link on YouTube. Still digesting it, but I echo most your sentiments.

ok just watched again (as i suspect a few have several times as well...) theres good news and bad news....
good news
Ki3t now has his personalised number plate (licence plate)
bad news
it contains only 2 letters, "KR" but in TOS the term "knight rider" was never actually referred to, TKR always frustrated me for that reason, so now it looks like apart from the constant shots of the cobra, we're going to be force fed the idea that this car is the KR model (albeit meaning King of the Road but its a plug nonetheless...)

Kobra Rider logo, Batcave, hot rod, windshield taking over for the entire dashboard... Other than that, the preview was done well and it looks action-packed. In terms of K.I.T.T.'s looks I can tell from the preview that Gary Scott Thompson missed the point of what K.I.T.T. should look like. He just couldn't seem to resist the Goddamn Fast and the Furious inspiration, could he? The ONE thing that should have been the most obvious major no-no was overlooked. On the bright side, a half naked Deanna was a nice touch.

i'm so dissappointed with the new attack kitt. although, it looks like theres an accident/explosion right away, so maybe kitt gets somewhat destroyed and has to be rebuilt, and then maybe we'll get the car with the lambo wings? wishful thinking i know, but still. very disappointed seeing that hot rod kitt

We have to endure some F&F-ousness for the show to be on the air, but it's looking far better than I feared it would. Sorta like Deadly Maneuvers... some things need smoothening out. I hope the new voice modulator will be... has too much glassy glare. I preferred the pilot one.
And the transformation... the vid is not of the greatest size, so I guess we'll see it up close and maybe the nanotech really is involved. I'd like to see the 3D models they're using to see how volume applies...

Not sure what the point is using spoiler tags when the subject title states "sneak peek..."
one odd thing about the transformation, how do they get from the bed of the pickup into the seats of the mustang..??
and watch the last part of the transformation again the way they appear in the seats... quite odd
