When will the movie come out in the uk? Any new information? Anyone contacted NBC and had a reply?

I think the likelyhood is that it won't be out in the UK til Early 2009.

Mind you, that's only a guess right now.

Bionic Woman took quite a few months to air in the uk, im not sure how many exactly but you can guarantee it wont be far off the same time frame.

I'm not so sure. KR has a massive following in the UK. The press has been keenly following the new series progress and we know (thanks to KR-UK) that Sky might be interested. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it hit our screens late 2008/very early 2009.....but that depends on who gets the rights. If its ITV, it could be much later on some rubbish ITV4 time. If its Sky, then we could be in for good times ahead.

Bionic Woman is a case in point actually because by the time it was aired in the UK, we already knew (well people who are 'web savvy') that the series had bombed...

Would the uk TV chiefs now hold back to see how a show does first before purchasing it now???

I think your right, they'll hold back. Both Channel 4 and BBC2 did similar things with Lost and Heroes. In Channel 4's case they aired season 2 of Lost very soon after season 1, so that it came inline with USA.

I'm hoping they don't though, based on what they already know about Knight Rider and depending on the first few episode ratings.
