Hi.
I've the corgi's kitt too & i think that it's a enormous fault to have silver wheel. I've another model of kitt ( bought in around 1990 ) and the wheels are black ==> the car is beautiful !!
What a pity with silver ... :(

The silver wheels are pretty standard for all corgi models. if you look on their website, and look at cars about the size of KITT, you will see they all have those silver wheels. so kitt isn't the only one.

i have 2. one on display and one in a box! just a damn shame about the steering wheel.

I know that but it doesn't respect the car, it's not great ( to my mind ).

The scanner has an intelligent system : when the car forward, there is a system that the scanner moves right to left & left to right.
Sorry for my english, may be american guys explain better than me ...

I don't have a pic, but no it's not a light, a little piece of red plastic on a band that moves left and right. I was actually disappointed with the scanner, but oh well. Yeah, other than that it's good.

22.99??? jeez, thats way expensive and i don't think the price justifies the model at all. theyre only 15 bucks here in the UK and even that, i think, is a little over the top.

the scanner does suck. it moves too fast when you push it along the floor so you have to push him extra slow for you to get the right scanner speed.

Skav, that actually is a good price. You are forgeting one thing, your 15 was in pounds sterling, our 22 is in American dollars. At todays conversion rate, 15£ is $ 24.0945. Our price is a dollar cheaper or
69 pence cheaper.

Damn conversion currencys. :)

I always thought those toy cars were a waste of time and money. If they were to make a KITT they should do it right and make a light for the scanner instead of that band thing.

I'd say buy two: keep one sealed for collector's purposes, the other you take out, strip the center of the wheels and fill in gloss black.

Least that's what I'll be doing....
