For the thieves thing, I was only speaking for myself, in France

In the States, it is different as they are very common.

LOL but really here, I only heard about one steal of an US car since I got mine (since sept 2001). It was an '82 Vette. Never heard about vandalism or bad things. For sure, don't leave it alone in a parking lot where you know bad things can happen
Sith, I have those pics on this page too but it is in French

In the four years I've been going to the Knight Nationals I've never heard of anyone saying there car had been vandalized. Of course most people with a Kitt conversion don't go where it's going to be beat. My TA won't be coming to the east coast until I've got a garage to put it in. And my fiancé's cars are both secure in another location.
I just got a chance to see your car GB. It looks great. I'm always happy to hear about people who have 3rd gens in other countries. Good luck to you.

Guess you don't visit the very board that sponsors the Nationals. There was at least one mention there not too long ago, and over here on the west side of the country, there have been several reports.
But let's just come out and say KI is wrong, after all, she doesn't own one, does she? *shakes head*

KI I never said you were wrong. I didn't come right on out and say it. All I said was that I hadn't heard of any. That doesn't mean that you're wrong. I own one too, that doesn't make me any more special that it does you. I don't visit Knight Registries very often any more. Why? Because they always seem to ignore me, so why take my questions to them. I'm sorry if your car was stolen, I can't help that and I certainly don't wish it on anyone. As for the west side of the country, I'm sorry I don't go out there and I don't ever plan on it, at least for now.

Then you might want to check your words, because it was definitely coming off as 'don't be silly, they aren't stolen', shutting off all possibility that they are vandalized. I am not holding ownership of conversion against anybody, I am just making sure that it isn't held against me.
