It's not an advertisement, it's a statement. Simply a fan immortalising a show.
msKEN, that cover is fantastic! I love it..

Great DVD cover. Very professional looking. Good job.
And no I won't bug you for a copy.
I'll just record them the old fashion way...on VHS.

Nice job, msKEN! I thought about doing the exact same thing with my DVD copy with the same picture, but unfortunately my printer is broken. I was also thinking of using the same poster image to use on a DVD label maker to make it more professional-looking. Maybe even type up a movie synopsis with some screen shots for the back cover, too.

I love the cover. Would it be possible just to get a jpeg of it?

Thanks for the comments guys, still working on the back.
I'm actually still working on the main DVD, its taking some time to put it all together. I have full animated menus. My special features include all the tv spots, all the nbc.com behind the scenes features, the Jay Leno featurette, the press releases video, the 4 part ford commercial spots, A Slideshow with music from the tv movie of all the pictures and stills I have collected since Knight Rider 2008 was announced, English, German, and Spanish subtitles (yup I'm that crazy) and a few extra goodies only a geek could ask for.
It will have to do, until an official one comes out.

I'm impressed. And inspired.

That's not unlike the
Knight Rider 2000 DVD I have (picked it up way before it was released on the Season 1 DVD set; and no, I didn't design the cover). I bought it off eBay. Wasn't a bad deal because while it is VHS quality from 1991, the color isn't saturated and the picture isn't grainy, unlike all subsequent copies. Too bad the movie wasn't good.

That is a blast from the past! That is a cover and a DVD I designed back in like 2003. I made the mistake of sharing it with a guy named Keith St. Pe' from Louisiana who proceeded to bootleg the heck out of it along with a bloopers dvd that I had made. Which is why I wont be sharing this digital DVD cover with anyone.

Excellent Work. Probably the most negative thing I can say about this is it's a shame it has to be on DVD - and not BluRay, since most your source material is HD... which isn't very negative at all.

I Really hope they release a copy of the movie later this year on Blu-Ray. With some awesome special features too, not just the trailers but some behind the scenes on filming, alternate scenes, bloopers all that fun stuff. That would be kick ass!

I have a Sony BluRay-RW and the software to make BlueRay DVD's. I just need to study up on how the menus are created in blueray. They seem to be a flash like interface. I'm hoping NBC beats me to it though as blueray-r's are pretty dang expensive!

Count me in as someone who would love to have that DVD artwork you've made, msKEN! Awesome work!

So you're telling me you designed my DVD copy?!?!

That's pretty wild to find that out just by pure coincidence!

Nice work, by the way!
By the way, I believe I own your bloopers DVD as well. Is this it?

Thats pretty lame all because one guy did that but i can understand from some point but the other should be that you could make that for the community & share it for ture fans instead of hoarding a great cover for finachial or other reasons. For those looking for a cover go to cdcovers.cc, there is one on there now & im sure as time follows better ones will be availible. And for those handy with photoshop its not that difficult to make a DVD cover there is templates you can get along with free programs that take the image youve made & make it into a DVD cover then make it able for you to print it on glossy strong paper with todays fairly cheap printers to be put in a blank DVD case availible at walmart or the web. All it takes is a little time & creativity, the images are already there for you to use, you just have to put them together like a DVD should look like.

Here is one i made in about 2 minutes using existing images, its incomplete & can use more stuff but ill leave that up to you guys. I just did it real quick to show its not that difficult & unavailible. The download link is for the full image because its too big to post open in the forum. Use it, edit it, do whatever the hell you want with it!

Um ok. But since you can apparently make better covers then me, than why are you complaining? Awesome covers by the way.

I'm putting together my own DVD at the moment, just for my self. I'm trying to include as many trailers as I can find as extras. The only one I can't find is the long trailer, the one that starts with the KITT/Sarah conversation in the library. Does anybody have a file of it they could e-mail me. Thanks.

Um, never said i make better covers just said making a point as why show off a great cover & not share it? I understand you took the time to make it but its not like you did the images yourself. You basiclly copied & pasted everything you found on the new Knight Rider plus sceen captures & the "Special Widescreen Edition" from the Spider-Man DVD. Its not personal but why make these people drool? Just tell them how to do it.
