KITT Concept Car by Kevin Morgan

Post by FuzzieDice » Fri Oct 19, 2007 10:26 pm

For those that do not yet know, Kevin Morgan has drawn up a Trans Am concept car in for his "Bring It Back" campaign in hopes of getting GM to reconsider and create a new Trans Am model. His web site is here:

He has also drawn up an idea of his idea of KITT, which can be found on is site (left hand side news for Sept. 28th)

Although I like some of his ideas for the basic Trans Am, I think his KITT misses the mark. The scanner is too low and small, and I would think KITT would have at least a few more modifications. (different hubcaps for example.)

I was thinking his T/A concepts are more suited for Smokey and the Bandit instead of Knight Rider. Basically because the design is based on the 2nd Gen Trans Am and not the 3rd Gen that KITT was. So I can agree with you there.

But thought it was of interest to post here in that many people are jumping on the KR bandwagon right now. I think this is good as it will mean more support for the movie and TV show efforts. There's tons of fans out there to make both projects worthwhile.

I just hope that when they do have the movie and TV shows released, that model kits and diecasts of the new cars will be made. :)

Still think that Camaro looks too blocky to be KITT. I agree with Michael, the scanners too low. I'm convinced we will see modifications in line with the original KITT (eg heavily redesigned nose section).

....there was a really slick picture of a TA doing the rounds

Yep I know its doing the Smokey look but its a start!

That could never be K.I.T.T. in my mind, but it makes a damn good looking Trans Am!

IMHO, if they would give the car a longer nose with the scanner moved much upwards, it would be pefect for Kitt. It is sleek yet muscular, it shows power and intellect, like the original Kitt showed.
