HEY.... after watching S.trek -Nemesis, it hit me...the buggy used in the movie was rather KR-esque....

and the actor who played Dr. Soran in the Star Trek movie 'Generations' would be a great fit as Devon Miles!

were would the coyote be without the Roadrunner....? IN Smokey & the Bandit III, there was some footage that later turned up in various episodes of KR....along with the car ...ironically the same car Michael Long drove out into the desert with Tanya Walker in it & she who shot
him at point blank range.....(and the rest is history ) only to have him fall on top of & then down the nose of the car .......

What?!? Nemesis Knight Rider-esque? Coyote and the Roadrunner? S&B III footage in Knight Rider?

Please explain these 3 points in greater detail.

OKAY..... for the movie (KR ) the role of Devon Miles could be filled by the Villain actor from Star Trek-Generations.

in ST-Nemesis the dune buggy used in the scene reminded me of KR-junkyard Dog- where Kitt was rebuilt but was skittish in testing his systems before he was re-painted...

Watch-if you can -Smokey & the Bandit III.

There are scene shots that were ALSO used in KnightRider & the car is a similair T/A used in the very first episode.

I lifted a quote from the movie regarding the Roadrunner/Coyote...

OK, the actor is Malcom McDowell, and actually, I agree... he might make a convincing Devon.

Next, the Argo (the buggy in STN) looks nothing like KITT, in either paint job and is in no way Knight Rider-esque. Sorry, try again.

Everyone knows in SB3 that the Bandit's (new Bandit's) car is a 3rd Gen TA. Everyone hated that it was.

Can you identify what footage was used? You are probably referring to stock footage, that wasn't just used in KR, but possibly other series and movies too.

And about the Roadrunner... random... yeah.

he could probably make a good devon miles what is wrong with 3rd generation trans am if you dont like it your not a fan of kitt or knight rider

the scene in S&B-III is the point in the flick where the sherriff was chasing the Bandit down an alley way& winds up assisting a truck driver in backing up & he -the sherriff -winds up getting a ticket by a ticket lady-cop

Some of that chase scene footage was used in KR....
tho KITT/Michael were chasing a gold firebird ( circa 1975 to 1977 model )

odd that it was the same style car that Detective Jim Rockford had used / drove in the series,"the Rockford Files" & thank you for the name of the actor in STNG-Generations...!

I thougt the buggy reminded me of KITT-post sludge pit- rebuild uin the episode of "Junkyard Dog".....the start up/original sound KITT had in the vERY first episode when he meets Michael for the first time is...Classic!

The writers & produx crew should have kept the start up sound of KITT throughout the run of the series...it was a classic ! & that also should include the stopping-decelerating in the episode-"not a drop to drink."

The first two Bandit movies utilized a 2nd Gen Trans Am. I was merely pointing out that fans of the first Bandit movie (and the 2nd) were not happy to have a third (and horrifically convoluted movie without Burt Reynolds and the original car that had become an amazing status symbol.

a good point about keeping clean & positive here,on the board KITT
...after all we are only as good as our programing....& not to worry.... not offended was I, CJ keep ojn the creative trail tho...the road is open to imagination!....

S&B III... had its moments... thankfully there was not a S&B 4! Tho there was a series based on the Bandit idea a kid whom drove a black Dodge Stealth-or Mitusbishi 3000 Gt (nice in black/silver ) on the UPN ACTION PACK- same as KR-2010 ( SHEEEEEH! ) thankfully it did not last-tho the car was okay.
