When I spoke with Glen Larson in 2002, he mentioned that when Pontiac lost a shipment of Trans Ams in a train accident, Pontiac gave half of them to Knight Rider and half to The Fall Guy. Does anyone recall seeing a bunch of Trans Ams in The Fall Guy? It probably would;ve been in the 82-83 season. I wish they'd put this out on DVD!

I saw that show, "The Fall Guy", and it was a pretty good show, what I had seen of it.

It actually was just a shipment of Pontiacs. Watching the segment on the Commentary, he didnt specify the model, just the make. :wink:

I think Sam is right if I remember right. Then again my mind is so foggy that I remember watching Fall Guy (Lee Majors stared in it, this was after his Six Million Dollar Man stopped airing. He also appeared in the Bionic Woman).

I don't remember what cars were in The Fall Guy though. I vaguely recall the show, even. My dad used to watch it a lot.

If I remember correctly, Heather Thomas' character (Jody) sometimes drove around in a white 1982 or '83 Firebird in the show.

Yep. It was white and it had that Fal Guy logo on the hood, blue with an eagle on it. Almost as the Pontiac Bird that The Bandit had on his hood =)

yep a also see a 82 or 83 totaled during a pursuit chase

No, it wasnt just a shipment of Pontiacs...they were all Trans Ams. He specifically told me they were T/As and that he gave half of them to The Fall Guy and the other half to Knight Rider.

When i spoke to Glen, he told me the same. I remeber the show but can't remeber the details.

:oops: Well, if all one has to go on is the interviews on the DVD sets, it might have been confusing. I don't think he said Trans Ams in the interview itself but then again I'd have to re-view that to be sure.

So it was all Trans Ams? Dang, if I had known that they were going to give them away, I'd have wanted one. :P I know... I know... they only give them to movie studios. :( Darn! :lol:

IIRC there were some white hardtop firebird stunt cars on the fall guy in later episodes
