In the begining of the commercial, KITT speeds down the road and does his famous turn, he then talks to everybody on tv about calling his 976-2233 phone number and say's that he has stories about him and Michael. I remember calling this number before and KITT talked so fast that i didn't really get a chance to hear everything..A month later, my parents got the phone bill we got a 90 dollar phone bill just calling KITT and that dumb Hallowenn number. Anyways, if anybody can remember this, please post your thoughts..Thanks

$90.00 for a call or two?! You mean the call pushed the existing phone bill up that high, right?Mustang61777 wrote:A month later, my parents got the phone bill we got a 90 dollar phone bill just calling KITT and that dumb Hallowenn number.

This might be a tad of topic but it's still a commercial of the Knight Rider, it was awhile after Knight Rider being canceled or I think it was when Knight Rider was off the air
It showed David Hasselhoff and a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, him looks like he was going into a bar and the Trans Am eye lights turning on and off

Never seen that one. Sounds like they were going for the KR look to me, too.
I didn't know David ever intentionally did any advertising. (Besides for his shows/movies/plays/charities.)
Now, talking cars that blink their factory standard lights to their speech paterns, on the other hand, is something that pops up from time to time in odd commercials and various TV shows.
