Original Knight 4000 mold on eBay?

Post by KFCreator » Mon May 05, 2003 11:34 pm

I saw this on eBay and thought you guys may find it interesting. Since no pictures are provided and the seller gets the name of the TV movie "Knight Rider 4000" wrong, I have to say I am skeptical and wouldn't bid on it without at least good pictures. But, it is interesting and I have to say that they seem to have good knowledge knowing that KIFT was made originally from a Dodge Stealth. Anyway, here's the link and lemme know your input.

I don't think it's real, as a friend said, the guys nuts selling a supposed 20k dollar car for that littlew with no reserve. Also, he/she doesn't show any real pictures of the mold it's self, just pics out of a magazine or something. :?

The fact that the guy knows the car was built upon a Dodge Stealth doesn't prove much, because searching the net for Knight Rider could reveal that much detail.

Well the first few pictures look like they are captures off the model box. The seller has since added pictures of the mold which could be authentic, but the fact that even the feedback rating of the seller is private leaves me skeptical.

Buyer beware.

The seller is in fact Eric Nagy fron the now defunct, Knighton-line.com. He does in fact have the original mold for the 4000 and is getting out of the business of Knight Rider parts from what I hear. A good grab if someone has got the cash.

Uhhhmmm, You may wanna re-look at the auction. There are a bunch of pictures of the mold and a produced car on there now. It's worth it for the price it is currently at.

Ahhh, Ok, LOL.

Yeah, I noticed that seller has a habit of adding pictures a few days
after his auctions starts. Last minute attempt to generate excitement I guess. Looks good though. Not one of my favorite car designs but would still be neat to have.

I didn't take it as an insult, I just didn't get the phrase at first. No problem what so ever. :D
