That would certainly be preferable.. Though I'd rather just something had happened to KITT (destroyed or serving a different purpose) rather than not use WD.

Heck why don’t we make an all CG 1980s version of David. Hair and all. Who needs actors?FX23 wrote:they could record his voice into a computer and then have the computer simulate him and im sure david would mind reprising his role as lead character if asked, its all possible!
I gotta get my record player fixed it keeps playing this song for some reason.

This thread is seriously going nowhere.

"Proper" Knight Rider is on dvd in 4 sets, 1 for each season and a compilation is coming out. Get over it.

Re: Hasselhoff in final talks to guest star?
It seems he forgets that this show is not about the Micheal Knight and KITT from the 80s and is a continuation of the series set 25 years into the KR history. Which be be stupid as hell for the Hoff to play his own son and for WD to voice the 3000.PHOENIXZERO wrote:FX23 wrote:looks like you lot have given up on proper knight rider

But not as easy as forgetting everything you say...like all of us do.FX23 wrote:it can be easy forgotten just like team knight rider and knight rider 2010 and all that *?$#
It's not Knight Rider 82-84.
It's Knight Rider 08
2 different shows.
2 different casts
2 different cars
2 different stories
Move on and get a life and let us enjoy the only sure Knight Rider program we have in the near-future.
Or do you hate Knight Rider that much?

Can this thread just contain info on DH returning and the talk he was having with NBC this past week? I think that is all that is important to this thread right now! As well as KI2T of course.

Re: Hasselhoff in final talks to guest star?
Well Liz Sladen, who's in her 50's had a guest appearance on the current series of Doctor Who. She played Sarah Jane Smith a character she played in DW in the 70's. John Leeson also came back as the voice of K-9, another 70's era Doctor Who character.
The episode was so popular the BBC comissioned a spin off series called Sarah Jane Adventures with Liz Sladen as Sarah Jane with guest appearances of K-9 voiced by John Leeson. The show is filming it's second season.
Now if this worked for Doctor Who, why couldn't it work for Knight Rider?
I'll get my coat.

Re: Hasselhoff in final talks to guest star?
Liz Skaden's role in DR Who and subsequent spin off is NOT an action role and Dr Who's current makers have already stated that the Dr could not be played by a younger actor than current timelord David Tennant because the role is far more physical than was required back when Liz Sladen's timelord was on screenJudd wrote:Well Liz Sladen, who's in her 50's had a guest appearance on the current series of Doctor Who. Her spin off show supports her with a much younger cast and a different target audience
Re: Hasselhoff in final talks to guest star?
I have a feeling that if David H. makes an appearance with his old partner, we'll probably see some old fist flying with both him and his son taking down the bad guys once they're stopped them after a high speed chase with both KITTs.
If they have him in the show, they are going to go old-school on some things as a nod to the old fans.
I don't know this for sure, of course, buy why wouldn't they? Anything more than a three minute cameo would dictate that the elder MK is used in such a manner. GST seems to get that, as he said with his meeting with DH was to do something significant, not just a wink to the audience but a full on make-out session to the camera.

Watching KITT turbo boost since 1982.

Re: Hasselhoff in final talks to guest star?
Yes and according to GST this is what they discussed. Also the fact it will be story driven and a 2 parter or one big hour, all said it will be a great episode with much to cover and not just some stupid appearance. Finally someone is doing the right thing!I hope the meeting went well and they made an agreement NBC & Hoff! Any word on it yet Neil or Mike or anyone know?adamtrek wrote:I have a feeling that if David H. makes an appearance with his old partner, we'll probably see some old fist flying with both him and his son taking down the bad guys once they're stopped them after a high speed chase with both KITTs.
