The school they filmed at is Cal State Northridge. I attended school there. I spent countless hours in that library.

Just a quick comment. As of now, I give it a 7.5 out of 10. The very best effort to date, but they still missed a few beats. When I'm done w/ the whole thing I'll post a proper review.

We have to remember everyone to make a lot of NOISE. If NBC picks this up, they can do an amazing show -- none of the pilots limitations and plenty of KR gold.

5 mins in and we see mike's threesome and then a few mins after that a lesbian FBI scene. just trashy and completely not needed.

the transformation effects seemed like a cheap fast and easy road to go very disappointed.

overall it was better then i thought and i enjoyed it but hope they keep the soft core porn out of it.

I hope everyone enjoyed the movie. Remember, a pilot has limitations. A series doesn't. Tell EVERYONE (and there friends) to MAKE SOME NOOOOISE! If this gets picked up for series, the creative team behind it will work some MAGIC.

This is the most important thing about it: THEY DIDN'T RUIN THE KR "MYTHOS".

There is a talking car. Talking car is black. Talking car has a red scanner.

Those are the basics. They are all there. We also got a remix of the theme and not a horrible new composition (I saw KR2000 today -- so I know).

Having to bridge between original KR and New KR is already bad enough -- add to that not having enough money and having to fit everything in 80 min. It's a miracle it worked as it did.

If we support it, it will be picked up. Once free and clear from pilot-itis, gadgets and deeper storylines will folllow. And I bet we'll also see the traditional "opening -- FLAG -- back road -- little / big town -- ending fight / chase" structure that we all love.

I still think it was a 7.5 but I'm very grateful it wasn't TKR-bad.
