How KR is so unPC

I have to laugh at the lines in some early season 1 episodes. You could not get away with some of those on TV today. Take Slammin' Sammys Stunt Show Spectacular, in one scene Bonnie is talking to Michael and makes a comment along the lines of 'stuck between a rock and a hard place', Michael replies ...

i'd like to see more care taken with continuity. The series suffered badly because of lack of it. Also a closer attention to detail would be good to ensure that the viewer did not see things such as the lump behind the drivers seat when KITT is in Auto Cruise and the round steering wheel seen in som...

Oh well it looks like this KITT was a promotional replica. At least it is kind of preserved I guess.

If I get an opportunity I'll post some pics of the electronics operating. The day I took the pics the battery was flat!

I can't post images to this board or I would have posted them in my message. If anyone can and would like to post them here for me, drop me an email at fred_5015@hotmail.com and I'll flick them to you. As for your comments Joe, I am 99.99% sure that this is a real studio car not a replica. Why I say...

I never liked the model car shots either, in some episodes it is so obvious it is a crap model. The scene in junk yard dog where kitt is sinking is just one example.

KITT in New Zealand - Followup

Hi Everyone, A followup on my earlier post this year, the genuine season 1/2 KITT is currently stored in a warehouse in industrial Auckland and is taken out to shows to promote products etc. The car is in original condition, the only noticable modificaiton is the installation of a DVD player and scr...

Kitt vs Karr

I note that Paul Frees is the voice of Karr in the season 3 episode and he sounds a lot like Darth Vader. Does Paul also voice Darth in Star Wars? I also note a reference made to George Lucas during the episode too..

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a genuine car. I live in NZ and was unaware that a KITT lives here, this is great news, I going to try and track it down!!

It would be good if there was a list of where all the surviving genuine KITTS live now. Perhaps there is a list somewhere?

Cheers,
Fred
