I saw it on Sunday and it does look real nice & restored. I'm now curious how much is original versus new parts (Dash, seats, hubcaps, carpet, etc, etc). Would've been nice to see it almost all original.
At the price they are asking it will be sitting in their showroom for a long, long time. :?

Is this KITT real? What do you all think. Seems kinda pricey to me if it is real. Your thoughts?

KITT For sale?

Anyone know of any KITT replicas for sale (Turn-key), completed? I haven't seen any on eBay in a bit either.

Saw KITT driving around in Northern, CA

I was cruising around in Newark, CA (Bay Area) on Saturday and this black T/A caught my eye...and then the red LED--yes it was KITT.
Anyone know who the owner is? Looked real nice and accurate.

$54,625.00 was the final price. I checked with Profiles in History and KITT was sold and paid for by the high bidder, so I will not be approached as the 2nd highest bidder. Ahhh so close but so far ;)

Well...

If the winner flakes I would consider buying the car...all depends on how PO'd the wife would get. We'll see if he flakes, etc

Interesting

Actually it sold for $47,500 + $15% (buyers fee)...so they kinda made it sound like it did better than it actually did. I'm shocked only 2 people bid on it. A guy with zero feedback and me. I did it on a whim. Hmmm I wonder what happens if the high bidder doesn't pay

Question

I'm a newbee when it comes to KITT, but I have always wanted a KITT replica and the real-one would be the topping on the cake. So what is the history of this KITT on eBay? Was it for sale somewhere else for $30k? How much do you all think it is worth? If I built a replica KITT how much (approx) woul...
