We're back from the Knight Nationals, and we had a blast of a time. We are a little tired for wear, but it was worth it. Everyone was terrific, from the fans, to Pamela Susan Shoop, Don Peake and Patricia McPherson. The Knight Registries organization put together a teriffic event, and we must thank them for all their hard work that went into it. It was great to finally meet and spend quality time with a lot of you after so many years.

For three and a half years Don Peake scored the music to Knight Rider, which was a great edition to an amazing career as a composer. A collection of his work from various Knight Rider episodes will be available in a Limited Edition release. We are thankful that he gave us the go ahead to print this information about his upcoming CD:

I have finally been given official Universal Studios permission to release a Knight Rider CD.
I got some transfers from the "Vault" and they sound terrific.
The fans in Germany requested 6 episodes for the Knight Con 2004 limited edition CD. They are:

HALOWEEN KNIGHT
MOUTH OF THE SNAKE
(70 MINUTES OF MUSIC)

Reports from various UK based online retailers, and Virgin Megastore UK are reporting a September 13th release for the Season 1 set in Region 2 format. Region 2 covers Europe, Japan, South Africa and the Middle East including Egypt. News coming back also reports that the audio on these sets are soley English, leaving many nations without their native speaking episodes.

Product Artwork and features on the set have yet to be released, so anything you may have heard or hear here may change. But when and if they do we'll bring the news to you. Hopefully they wont stray to far from the Region 1 release, unless it's to add items.

The yearly Knight Nationals will take place once again during the Trans Am Nationals in Vandalia, Ohio on August 28th and 29th. This year special guests include Patricia McPherson, Pamela Shoop and more!

Cost to this years event will be $75 per person T shirt included. If you bring your spouse and children they are $25 additional ($100 per family). Kids must be under 12 years of age.

Awards

This year we will have several awards these include: Best of show (voted on by attendees)
- Best Knight Inspired Replica (for those different yet great cars) voted by KR staff
- Best exterior only conversion (voted by KR staff)
- Most improved replica (given by KR staff to conversion that has shown the most improvement during their time with the Registries)
- Underhood award for best mechanics (Voted by KR staff)

Set to take place at the Theme Park Warner Bros. Movieworld in Bottrop–Kirchhellen, Germany.
