March 2003 Archives

The Knight Rider game for the PC was released on Monday. This week, the series "Extended Play" on the TechTV network will review the game. A search on Techtv.com's website reveals that the show will be on Wednesday 4/2 at 4 p.m., Thursday 4/3 at 3:30 a.m., and Sunday 4/6 at 3:30 a.m. Eastern.

They also have a review that they give 3 out of 5 stars.

"Knight Rider" is better than most titles based on a license. The gameplay has its share of highpoints, and although it's occasionally lackluster it's one of those straightforward titles you can finish in a few sittings. It's definitely worth a serious look from fans of the television show.

And even if you're not a fan, the premise is surprisingly fresh compared to many of the other driving games on the market. "Knight Rider" for the PC is far from perfection, but it's an enjoyable game that definitely warrants consideration.
