KITT should be a model T Ford and movie should be based in an Amish community.

A couple of years ago, someone over at Something Awful posted this in one of their weekly Photoshop contests, as an idea for a new TV series.

I showed it to a friend of mine, and we fleshed it out a bit...
-I think they should do that for the new Knight Rider movie.
--The main character would be Aloysius Knight.
-Played by David Hasselhoff with a handlebar mustache and a starched collar.
--KITT will speak in Morse Code.
-And he can Turbo Boost to the amazing height of three feet!
--Better yet, he'd just be a midget under the hood pedalling.
-
--"Faster, KITT!" "*pant pant* I'm trying, Aloysius!"
-That would be just classic.
--KARR would be an evil midget.
-And evil twin Galamiel Knight would have an Evil Goatee so we can tell him and Aloysius apart.
--It'd be worth it just to see Hasselhoff in a bowler.
-A bowler and an evil goatee? Sign me up!

I am all for updating Knight Rider, but I'm not sure if not having the '82 Trans Am in the movie at all is such a good idea.

Granted; they are trying to gain new fans by modernising it, but at the same time I don't think they should alienate the original audience and those that grew up with the series by not having the '82 Trans Am in the picture.

I tend to agree with the concesus in here that the movie should start with the KITT we all know and love and then have become the new car in the middle of the movie.

I'm not saying they should just start off as a new KITT, I'm on the same boat, that they should start off with the T/A, and morph him into something new.

Or how about, a new KITT? I know that's heresay, but how cool would it be if the new driver and his new KITT got their ass whooped, and David comes out of retirement, unplugs old KITT, and saves the day. They wouldn't show the old KITT in the begining, just mention that he's out of commission, but later on, a streaking black speck barrels down the desert landscape, to the old KR tune...and stun the audience.....how cool would that be?!
