As far as I'm aware KRO looks like a Ferrari 355.

I have found it, the car is in a museum now in England but i dont know where it is. Read this:

The Ferrari F355 is built from May 1994 to 1999. It is an evolution of the Ferrari 348 and was replaced by the Ferrari 360. It is a mid-engined V8-powered 2-seat coupe. One major difference between the V8 in the 348 and that in the 355, apart from the displacement increase from 3.4 to 3.5 L, is that the 355 features a 5-valve per cylinder head. Like its predecessors and descendants, the F355 is a fairly common car (for a Ferrari) with nearly 12,000 produced.

At launch, two models were available: the coupe Berlinetta, and the targa topped GTS. The Spider (convertible) version was introduced in 1995. In 1998 the Formula One style paddle gear shift transmission was introduced with the Ferrari 355 F1 (note the dropping of the F before the 355) adding £6,000 to the dealer asking price.

Ferrari manufactured a race ready F355 Challenge model for use specifically in the Ferrari Challenge race event. The Ferrari F355 Challenge shares the exact same performance and dimension specifications as the original. Ferrari simply added racing seats, a downforce wing, and a roll cage. The F355 Challenge is not street legal. Only 109 were produced. Each F355 Challenge has an emblem on the rear which specifically denotes 'F355 Challenge'.

To signify the end of the 355 model Ferrari built 100 units with the designation 'Serie Fiorano' they are slightly lower than stock with a special handling package and remapped fuel chip. The majority of these are Spiders and can easily be identified by the numbered plaque on the dashboard. The Car you see was used in the "Team Knight Rider" epsiode KRO.

Thats cool info on a REAL F355 but im sure the TKR guys used a fiero based F355 kit car which were availble at the time the show was on. The F355 kit car was based on a fiero with a stretched wheelbase. Shortly after the kit came out Ferrari put a stop on all or most of the companies that made ferrari kits.

one of the many fiero based F355 kits out there ;)

There apparently was a KRO toy. However the only toys I have seen on ebay are Dante and Beast. The bikes, Donimo and KRO did not seem to make it to the toy stores. The problem with TKR using non-Ferrari kits is the legality of it. You would have imagined Ferrari gave Universal lawyers a hard time about it. Looking at the kit there are telltale differences between the kit and the real thing (eg bumper detailing and front pop up light area). This tiny little things dont appear to be on KRO, which suggest either that its an extremely good kit or it is the real thing.

EDIT: http://www.teamknightrider.com/episodes/104/104eps.html . I've gone online and looked at the various kits and they all seem pretty poor to be honest. I've compared the shots of the real F355, KRO and a kit and its hard to see how KRO is not a real 355. The kits just dont look that accurate in proportions. The most obvious thing they could have done is build there own mold based on the real 355 for the stunt cars and had a real 355 as a hero car.
