I made a few changes but Can't decide which looks better.

Image

This one has the cowl enduction hood, better monitors, and some gradient effects on the steering wheel.

Which do you prefer first pic or second pic?

In general, it looks awesome Very accurate. :) The only thing I'd critique is the perspective. But KITT's dash is a pretty complex shape and it's hard to get a semi-accurate perspective drawing on the computer. If I were you, I'd try drawing it by hand first, using vanishing points (or at least a vanishing point.) The lack of one vanishing point is what causes the wonkiness of the armrest. But it's mostly very well done, and I'm sure you know how to use handels in illustrator better now. Keep up the good work :)

Well the wonkiness as you put it might be because I was trying to capture the lower consoles angled look

Its so hard to try to get it to look right in the san andreas/vice city cars.

Nice job! I think you got quite good at Adobe Illustrator. :)

I've been experimenting with a program called "Inkscape" lately. Haven't done too much with it but it's a vector/SVG graphics program. I haven't had the initiative to draw KITT or his components yet though. :)

Looks good! The only suggestions I have is that you move to hood
scoop over in front of the voicebox as it is located on the drivers side,
not in the center. That and you have one to many countdowns in
the top of the dash. Its 4, not 5. Red, orange, yellow, yellow.

Otherwise a really nice job on it. You have captured the basic look
of the 2 TV dash! 8)

Thanks knightdriver.I was concerned with the sequence of colors rather then the number of lights.Any critique is much appreciated though.

ryytel,I can send you the file without the steering wheel but I have to ask, what will you do with the picture?Create a flash animation with it?Create a functional steering wheel that can turn left and right using flash?

I am thinking of creating animations for this dash as I have pushed myself to my extreme limits lately to see what I can come up with.

I'm thinking of this for an animation sequence.I can create kitt's startup sequence but it could take a while here is the final result. What do you think?

Her is an image of the wheel off the dash and placed much lower so you can still use that If you want. Can I get copy of the san andreas kitt your going to use for it?

I can place all the images mapped out exactly where they need to be since I have the original high resolution pdf file.It would be much clearer in the game If I do it myself.

I like the animated GIF. Animations are just cool in general :)

It's definitely worth a try. It might turn out awesome and you'd get the skills from all the work. JMHO
