I always wondered what those were of, too. From what I remember, one is a concept 'Knight Cycle' and I think the Knight 4000 lookalike was actually a boat. I believe the rest were of K.I.T.T., of course.

On a side note, it would have been a good idea if Knight Industries actually devoped a super-bike like that, and had given it to RC3. I'd have kept his original dirt bike in "Killer K.I.T.T." for humor purposes, and then have it be destroyed as a lead-in for RC3 getting to use a new prototype.

We once tried to analyze the blueprint... some people thought it was KITT, some people thought it was the Knight 4000.... I believe it's just a sketch of a generic concept car.

Here's a shot superimposing a vector diagram of KITT (it should flash on and off). You can tell there are enough differences that it's not simply the image copied from the KITT Kit.

And they called it . . . Knight Boat! Like that parody in an old episode of The Simpsons . . . !

They did. Only trouble is, they gave it to a cop called Jesse Mach, and named it Street Hawk!

It appears to be a hybrid of a Trans Am front and a Porsche's rear-end.

I always thought it was a Porsche because of the rear end. Never did like Porsches.

Maybe these are the pics of the original conceptcar for Knight Rider. I read is somewhere that the original concept for KITT was TATT, the Trans Am Two Thousand and it looked more like a Ferrari. Maybe this is it.

I don't think they ever seriously considered using a completely customized car. Shows like Knight Rider and Dukes needed to have many copies of the car because they were going to get destroyed doing all of the stunts during filming. By using a generic outer body they don't need to worry about building a custom car every week- they can just roll out another Trans Am.

Looking at the closeup of the front. It looks like there's lettering on it saying "Stoneage".

Yup, there appears to be some kind of lettering there. But to me it reads "storage".

Also there are some other titles in the rear part of the car. This "storage" would actually backup "the Porche theory" because didn't atleast some Porches have engine in the rearside of the car and trunk in the front?

We have to solve this puzzle now. :-)

In my opinon, the first word on the rear part of the drawing appears to be "turbo" and the latter word "spare" (it does appear to be a spare tire inside the rear portion of the car).

Obviously they are drawn on there.

It could be a board for Bonnie/April's plans for upgrades for KITT.

Drawing diagrams and plans would be the most logical thing to do as part of the planning.

They wouldn't spend time making the drawing look like KITT, but a rough guide of kitt's system.

How about some more pictures of that red vehicle sketch. Anyone?

Storage - that make more sense. I don't know where I'd have thought "Stoneage".
