Ertl Firebirds 1/16th Scale

Post by Josch Schulz » Wed Aug 15, 2007 3:21 pm

Hi Folks

I have seen long Time that Ertl has make 1/16th Firebirds. Does anybody have one of those. Is the Dash cool, make Ertl a Bigger Knight Rider from it?

as far as i know there is no other scale that AMT/Ertl makes bigger than 1/18. as for the 1/18 scale I am one of the MANY KR fans on this forum that has the 1/18 scale KITT from Ertl and I LOVE it, even with some of its minor design flaws it is still a very cool scale replica of KITT.

Back in the 80's ERTL did make a 1/16 (might have been 1/10?) scale KITT. It was like their other cars from the era, which is basically a black Trans AM with a red sticker on the front and KR logo on the rear quarter panel. The interior on all was a stock dash.
