Well, the show's getting some good real estate on the UK Sci Fi Website home page...

Hi there,
Yes a good sign ! it's also really being pushed with really good previews on Scifi and the Hallmark Channel with clips from the pilot and several episodes from the season. During last nights SVU it was on twice and looked hot !
Looking forward to May 12th when I starts !!!
Mark.

The Sky magazine also has a two-page spread on the show, featuring quotes from past interviews and a brief look at the series. The title is mentioned on the cover and there's a small picture on page three as well.

seems the UK is doing a lot more to promote the show then NBC ever did.

To be honest, we need to! Sci Fi channel isn't exactly the most popular or well known channels in the UK. However, we've seen it before with Heroes. It started off on Sci Fi then got purchased by BBC, which arguably is the most watched station in the UK.
If Sci Fi gets promising numbers compared to when Heroes first aired then we atleast known the shows has life in the UK.....if it ever gets a season 2.

Knight Rider begins here in 50 minutes! I'm so excited not because I haven't seen it but because I've only seen KR08 on my PC screen, now I can see it on my awesome kick ass WIDESCREEN TV!!! (But you all probably have the same type of TV screen....

)

P.S. Do you know how many times I had to edit this post for it to make sense?

Will be interesting to see if they run the series in the 'original' NBC order.... with the first few episodes being dire, I wonder if they might mix things up a bit.

But you forget, NBC re-jigged the final few episodes when the series was cut in numbers... Technically it was show out of order anyway.

I watched the show last night (I'm based in Ireland) and really enjoyed the feature length pilot. It is over a year since I saw it online in not great quality so this was a real treat. I've seen all the episodes online and seeing the pilot again really showed the difference in approach between the series and pilot. It was much more like the original but I enjoyed the new series for what it was, and am looking forward to seeing them all again in widescreen.
There is good promotion on SciFi of the show and it will run regularily on Tuesdays at 8pm with Dollhouse premiering next week as the follow on show at 9pm.
All the episodes will be shown in the same order as they were in the US according to the SciFi website which gives detailed previews of all the episodes. They even go into depth about Charles Graiman's death and Karr, so if you did not know already what had happened, they are real spoilers.
There is a big following of Knight Rider this side of the Atlantic and most media outlets have given it a good mention and as you know the Skymag gave it a two page push recently.

Thoroughly enjoyed watched that on the larger Widescreen TV in the living room than the computer screen. The special effects seem less obvious already and thanks to 100Hz provided a much better viewing experience. Its strange as its been over a year since I last saw the pilot but it does seem seriously slow paced watching it now.
Only saw the second half so will be catching the rerun on Saturday tea time.......just like the good old days of watching Knight Rider in the UK.

For any new people coming in from the UK or any old members watching them again. Feel free to post in the
episode discussions any new observations. I'd love to re examine the episodes again. In fact, if you could let us know when the are all on we can re-watch ours on tape again.

Definitely planning on it

Even though I've seen the first few thanks to a family member in the States I'll be watching on Sci-Fi here in Northern Ireland. After watching the pilot last week, there was SO much potential with a superb cast and premise already set in place. My family all loved it, as did many of my friends... dunno what they'll make of GST's hashed job though. Just shows GST's incompetence as a show runer that he changed/ignored so much.
But yeap, will start posting in the episode threads that you've all been doing in the States, so we'll see you in there
