If you are staying at the Four Queens - then you are at the VIP party. Bonus points awarded for donating too!

Can anyone attend the VIP party? or do you have to be a replica owner or staying at the 4 Queens?
From the way I understood thing you have to do or be one of these four things.....

1) Be someone of importance
2) Book a reservation at the Four Queens Hotel
3) Bring your replica to display
4) Donation to the Children's Miracle Network (value amount unknown)

OFFICIALLY:
The VIP party is for car owners, celebrity guests and friends of the festival. In addition, people who booked at the Four Queens in one of the 25 available rooms, will be admitted to the event.
Donating to the charity is appreciated but wont get you into the VIP event unless you make a sizable donation (what that is I don't know, contact the promoter tigersharka - but I don't think they will turn away people who gave alot).

The event itself is free and open to all.

I'm pretty sure Nick will be selling his book there. There will also be an auction where amongst many things you can bid on a signed book with signatures from people such as Glen A. Larson and Stu Phillips (and I'm sure others)

IF you guys had need of a guy with a Hi-Def Sony SR11 camcorder to archive the whole thing, I'd LOVE to go to this. Only problem is finding someone to go with me. Too bad this thing won't ever make it to NY :).

I'm thinking of coming out for this event but I have a few questions:

- Are the guests on the event's website confirmed to be there?
- Is there a charge/donation to have celebrities sign items such as 8x10's?
- Will still cameras and/or video cameras be allowed?

This event sounds like it's going to be a GREAT one!!! Anyone else coming from SoCal, specifically San Diego?

- Yes you can purchase the book at the event (I will have a special booth, and a scheduled signing on Saturday) but I will only have a limited number of books on hand for both days (200 copies). If those sell out, attendees will have to purchase a copy through the official website and wait for delivery at a later date. Books will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Payment options are still being explored but primarily cash will be accepted.

If you get on the ball at Hotels.com room rates are about $35.00 a night if you stay more than 4 nights where I am making this a full trip going to see the sights the rest of the time I am down. (I don't get to go to Vegas that much :)). If you are just staying 2 nights the 90$ deal is the way to go.
Now I've stuck my foot in my mouth operantly you have to call the hotel and make sure you are "noted" for the Knight Rider Group. I talked to Alba at the front desk and she took care of me . It's always good practice to confirm your reservation if reserving online anyways :).

Right - if you book in any other way then calling them directly - there is no guarantee that you'll get into the event. Additionally it's only one per room will be allowed access. I'm not making the decisions on this - I'm just relaying the info.

The VIP event was first and foremost an event to thank the replica owners who have put thousands of dollars into their cars and are bringing them to Vegas for this event. Beyond that it goes to thank the others who have donated time and energy to the event to keep the cost down and give both these groups some personal face time with the Special Guests as thanks.

Even if you don't get into the VIP event, there still will be plenty of time to meet and get autographs. If you look at the schedule you can see that there are alot of chances to do this, so if you don't make it to into the VIP event, it's not the end of the world.

Beyond that - we (KRO) will be documenting and will be broadcasting live (to semi live) from the two day event (including the VIP party) so alot of you can be in the party from the comfort of your couch.

If you can't make it - remember you can still make a difference by joining us in gathering money for the Children's Mircale Network: http://knightrideronline.com/events/kni ... donate.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

--

As for the Guests. Anyone you see on that page that also has a video in the right column I would say you can bank on being there. Beyond that the higher profile people are doing this event for free for the charity and fans, so it's possible things can change at the last minute. They wouldn't be on the page if they didn't say that they wanted to come and are planning on being there - but they are calling them "invited guests" cause things may and can probably change.

Just booked my hotel! Does this mean I'm in on the VIP reception? Also, will video cameras be okay? And what is the dress code for the reception? Now the hard part, getting to Vegas from San Diego! Hahahaha!

If you've just booked it's a pretty safe bet that you are OK. Paul will get a specific list closer to the event.

Video cameras wont be allowed in the VIP event, still photography is fine. You can video tape on Fremont, but I've been told that the local security there might not allow you to tape for long unless your credited as Media.

Can someone explain to me why Pictures of Taping is not generally allowed in or around casinos? We took a shot once just waiting for someone to get to our machine and retrieve a stuck dollar bill, only to get told by security no flash photography...

Not a huge Casino guy myself - but it's probably a security thing - they don't want you taping the dealers so you can see their tricks.

Sure would have been nice if this decision had been made from the very beginning, rather than now.

2 very special people along with their parents had to cancel. They were all looking forward to the VIP party together.

Then 2 days later, after already canceling airfare and accommodations, yet another change. Another hotel and “Additional guests of the room must make a charitable donation of $25 dollars to the Children Miracles Network per person in order to attend the VIP party.” If only that had been decision had been made along with the previous one. Grrrrrrrr.
