Re: Regarding Victor Kros
I feel the moderators did the right thing. Especially after reading that thread. Like I was saying in my last post, it's too bad that VK said things that were against the forum terms and thus had to be stopped. But that's what happens when someone doesn't follow the rules. This has always been a friendly and fun forum because the moderators enforce the terms of use of this forum.

Kaine;
All I can say is thank you and it pains me that this sort of thing has entered into something so ugly.
We all have opinions surrounding Knight Rider-the Original, the various incarnations from that time till this
with NBC's new Knight Rider series.
We all, I would think -agree that we want them to get it right & that includes Glen Larson who stated that
right in front of me.
I had my misgivings about the new series & Ive never made a secret of that, but since the mistakes that took place
as it concerns the pilot, NBC has made thoughtful choices & showed that they do have some regard for fans.
And in conclusion the sneek peek of the 1st episode has made me somewhat hopeful.
So heres to seeing the original KITT' replicas along side the New KITT in Las Vegas as well as all the great elements that will be at The Knight Rider Festival, where hopefully we will hear about further movement on the Knight Rider
Motion Picture from Glen Larson.
All the best everyone,
D. Doggett.

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
Oh for Gods sake - Lets stop beating around the bush!
The guy acted like a complete idiot, he was impolite, rude and damn right egotistical.
What I can't understand is how people dont realize that 'VK' has NOTHING to do with the promotional desicions of the Knight Rider movie - IF it ever happens.
Would you honesty (given his track record) use Nick as a PR/Press officer for your movie production?
If it is the case that he has been hired for this 'movie' then im sorry, that in itself speaks volumes. There is no way in hell that a pro production would hire a kid who does nothing more than start agro on message boards and claims to be some kinda 'Knight Rider God'.
Honestly if Mr Larson decides to shun KRO over the banning of a chilish prick, like -VK- then really, he can stick his movie up his ass.

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
I don't even know where to start. But I have to say that this is a required move by the Mod's so be it. However I feel that VK (Nick) has given us an opportunity to shed some light on the new KR movie, Glen's whereabouts, Sauges Speedway, the new book coming out, etc. I respect that and have made friends with him over the time.
In the beginning of when VK was on this forum, when I recommended the Camaro as KITT for the movie, he shut me down for no apparent reason and I responded back and gave him a piece of my mind. He realized he was wrong and apologized, from there on we became friends. Now if because he thinks he's always right or whatever the case is, sad to say there are other people on the forum that feel that way too. I don't like to get involved with drama, and everytime there is a fight, argument, or something with VK I stay away but I just wanted to say something because I too have a voice and the point is no one can tell me or anyone not say what they express!
Other people on this forum (as stated above me) act just like that being nasty, rude, and arrogant just as much. I seen how VK responded to others and he got better over time in terms of being respectful. If someone thinks there always right so be it, others on this forum do it as well. If he is wrong show him in a professional matter and that's that, if he continues to be an ass as some may say, then explain to him.

Not for nothing, and not to defend him, but you don't know what he does and what he knows with Glen, it even stated in one of the video interviews Glen speaking about the graphic designer (nick)chrisjones wrote:Oh for Gods sake - Lets stop beating around the bush!

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
Wow - some people really have the blinkers on don't they.
Oh and believe me, I'm fully aware of what he does. When someone takes a pot shot at me in a public forum it doesnt take much asking around in the right circles to find out PLENTY about a person.
He had the cheek to both public (AND via PM) have a pop at my profession and went as far to suggest that he was above me and that I was a no-body.
But thats another story altogether.
Its interesting to see that there are still people that feel the need to defend him, all credit to you, but your a vastily shrinking majority.
As I stated above, maybe he is a nice guy in person, if he is I wonder why he feels the need to be such a git on here!

There is a lot of gray area as to what is appropriate to say in a thread like this and what isn't. But THAT comment is definitely WAY over the line.chrisjones wrote:Honestly if Mr Larson decides to shun KRO over the banning of a chilish prick, like -VK- then really, he can stick his movie up his ass.

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
To be fair I don’t believe VK ever claimed to be acting in any official capacity as a fan representative. Sigh, I no longer have that pm where he “explained” that to me.chrisjones wrote:Oh for Gods sake - Lets stop beating around the bush!

But from my memory what he said was that he does not get paid for what he does and that he does it all on his own accord and does not speak for Glen.
I hope that none of this in anyway tarnishes anyone’s options of Glen or anyone else from TOS or the movie.
I understand completely that VKs tone can come across as rather harsh at times and I of course would certainly not want that to keep anyone new or old from being able to enjoy this forum. He certainly is vastly different in real life, so much so that at times it is hard to get my brain around it. In my own opinion he imagines arguments where there are none. Perhaps he is a bit jealous or hurt that we are paying so much attention to the new show right now. But it really was a poor time to decide to draw the line in the sand and have us pick a side. We were all so eager for both, it just happens to be NBCs time in the spotlight right now. Because of our collective excitement for the new show it is completely understandable, however unintentional, that his comments over the past week would be taken as him raining on our parade. In regards to his actions in this most recent thread, I am at a loss for words.

I've been reading VK's comments in that post and all the others over a period of time.
All i'll say is don't believe everything you read and people are not always who they say they are.

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
I'm glad this move was finally done. While I'm not a fan of bashing people to death once their account is suspended, I do believe Victor brought out a lot of ugly feelings on this board. I disliked his attitude and tone most of the time, in the forums and other places. There is little way to verify who he says he is or was, and I can't say that I really care.
Anyway, thanks mods. It's good to be able to relax around here a bit.

Re: Regarding Victor Kros
Under the circumstances,
I think this thread has served its purpose, and in some cases, had its purpose abused. Whilst emotions are understandably frought at the moment, certain comments have been every bit as unsavory as what brought us here in the first place, and given VK's inability to defend himself against the most ardent of comments that have been made, the only choice that remains is to lock this thread, and ask that everyone get back to the reason that we all came here originally, and that's the show that each and everyone of us loves.
