Like I said. I had no problem watching it
without hacks. Tried it on my laptop, my sisters laptop and my parents PC. On all of them Amazon worked fine
without workarounds!
Maybe just a bug then?!

That would depend on whether all these computers were hooked up to the same network/router
Amazon VOD customers must be based in the US, my guess is a VPN or some hardware firewalls that mask IP addresses, If its none of those then you are one of the lucky ones who got to watch it.

I used to watch it through Hotspot first time, second time it played even without it. Maybe they check from where are you only first time.
