1:18 KITT convertible, season 4 KITT & KARR all on eBay
KITT convertible & KARR from ERTL & me
I have finally finished the KITT convertible and a season 4 KITT to complement it as couldn't build in a folding roof. Also up for sale is a KARR version.
Best of luck to all who bid, any further questions please ask.

What did you make the convertable cover with? The paint on it looks kinda scuffy. Other than that AWESOME JOB!

The cover is made from putty, but I don't think it mixed to well with the paint on top (unfortunatly) so thats why finish isn't as great as hoped for.TurbomanKnight wrote:What did you make the convertable cover with? The paint on it looks kinda scuffy. Other than that AWESOME JOB!
It displays fine though & thought it best to show it upfront, so that punters can see what they are getting, as this is the only 1:18 KITT convertible i've seen & made.

one thing I noticed about these cars are the dashes look so much like Rob louisells first hand made dashes from the late 80's and the graphics came out really well on those projects too!....,my junkyard dog kitt is still not done yet with work and all in the way ,I hope to get that car done by summers end!....and finish up on my updated projects for my full size replica!

^^That sucks about your door, man.
My project is on hold at the moment as well so KITT will be off to the storage facility by the months end. Won't have time to start again till winter. New quarter starting up next month and I still havn't finished the millions of household projects that I've started this summer.
I think I need to have myself cloned. There's not enough of me to go around

It does take a toll on me in a very hardway!....most of the people I work with either just quit there jobs are went off on vacation and left me alone and my new boss was NO HELP at all!....I worked for almost an entire month with no days off!...and now that I got help again ,its just a slow moving summer with my having to train people at work and all!andy-kitt wrote:Know how you guys feel about finding time to do things, if feels like the models took ages to make with all the other commitments
and I am getting some old stuff out of storage to sale on ebay right now!

Re: 1:18 KITT convertible, season 4 KITT & KARR all on e
With the exception of the "hard shell" on the convertible K.I.T.T., those models look superb, andy-kitt. From far away it does look good, though. If I may ask, where did you get the images for the 3rd/4th season dashboard?andy-kitt wrote:KITT convertible & KARR from ERTL & me

Actually ...no one has yet in diecast!...only the 1/25 scales models were hand made and I have one complete and two more to finish and hopefully in the future I can build one off a kenner kitt!rulloa81 wrote:I wonder if anyone ever made a superpursuit mode KITT.

rulloa81 wrote:I can imagine that. is that model 1:25 made out of plastic? Does anyone have a picture of it? Do all the little parts move in and out?andy-kitt wrote:I have thought about making a SPM version, but getting it all right is gonna be a Knightmare
the parts do not move in or out!....for that to happen ,you would to be very good at microscopic work!>>
