Hot Wheels - Super Pursuit Mode KITT
Looks like HW's are going to be doing a Super Pursuit Mode KITT in their Retro Entertainment lineup.....

It's interesting how KITT is suddenly such a hot commodity.

Re: Hot Wheels - Super Pursuit Mode KITT
This is fantastic news! The fact that Hot Wheels has made a casting for a 1:64 scale SPM KITT is an indicator that someone there is likely considering other scales! Will we see a 1:18 SPM KITT next year? Hmmm...

Although not official Knight Rider, they've made the 2008 Shelby GT500KR in both 1:64 and 1:18 scale. Just missing the scanner on the exteriorapollyon2012 wrote:now if they would only make the semi and 2008-09 ki3t

Or, better yet, fan produced versions on a 3-D printer! Those things are getting more advanced, all the time. Haven't heard if the electrically conductive layer is officially ready. (Which is like printing your own circuit board.)krrdr2010 wrote:YES!!! I was always wishing they would. Do Goliath(in fact do a Mega-Set of KITT, KARR, and GOLIATH!!!-I'd buy it immediately.
(Wish I had examples. Just throwing the idea out into the ring.)
On a slightly similar note, dare I say that our beloved Kitt had skimmed the idea of 3-D printing, way back in the '80s? Can't remember the episode. But, it was one where Michael needed documentation to pass as his undercover personna. On the fly, Kitt produced several documents like pass card/license/etc, including the lamination! Viola, a surface skimming of the 3-D printer notion. How's that for the car of the future being on top of today's trends?

The 1:18 car you have a pic of is a 2010 - 2014 Shelby. It has a different body style than the 2008 - 2009 Shelby KR.PBH wrote:Although not official Knight Rider, they've made the 2008 Shelby GT500KR in both 1:64 and 1:18 scale. But I think you are right that Shelby Collectibles did make a 1:18 of the GT500KR in black.

You're right and my apologies. Here's the correct photo:jim010 wrote:The 1:18 car you have a pic of is a 2010 - 2014 Shelby.
