Was this entrance in the show? Might have a look later tonight to see if it is. And how it has changed.

Re: Locations ?
Hi everyone! Joe tuned me into this post and I couldnt not add to it
The House in question is at "20 Place Moulin, in Tiburon, Ca."
I know because my dad built it, and I lived there until 1986 - Including while they filmed the episode!
Just want to give a verification of this location
Im impressed how you guys got really close to the address - Place Moulin is a SMALL street

Re: Locations ?
yep! Sadly the current owners have let the house fall into a bad state of disrepair
Fun Fact - When the Barbarian Bros were being "electrocuted" originally they ran tubing up their pants and were trying to make it look like they were "smoking" from the heat, but it just didnt work well so they axed the gimmick - I have some pics of them testing it out at home
None of those other Giant houses were there back in the early 80s, either - It was pretty desolate honestly

I'm starting to wonder if the HQ was actually filmed in the MCAS Tustin Blimp Hangars, because from my knowledge they don't have underground facilities under hangers, was it filmed on a set or actually in the hangers?

Re: Locations ?
The beach house from "scent of the roses" and Macgyver "s01e10" is indeed 25036 Malibu Rd.
It was changed a bit on the front, they unified the roof, but it's still the same house.
As of November 1 it's available for rent - 40,000 per month.
Here are some more picture of how it looks today, unfortunately only from the other angle.

Re: Locations ?
Cool thread. I noticed that you already posted the location of the small town from Ring of Fire in season 2. The Kenneth Road Village at Kenneth Road and Grandview in Glendale, CA. I grew up in Glendale so I went to the location when it was filmed, and watched from a distance as they did the stunt driving on Kenneth and Grandview. The Callen's mansion was a few blocks down the street, also on Kenneth Road. It is the 2nd house east of Highland Ave on Kenneth Road. Also used in many movies and TV shows.
Many other scenes were filmed in Santa Clarita and Valencia, CA. In Soul Survivor, the road where Michael first meets Ann Turkel's character is The Old Road, just off of Calgrove and the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita. They are on the north side of The Old Road, along side the 5 Freeway. It is also the same location from Pee Wee's Big Adventure in which Pee Wee is driving with the escaped convict.

The drive-in theater that you are referring to is the Pickwick Drive-In, on Alameda Ave., in Burbank, CA. Unfortunately, it was demolished in 1989 and replaced with a Pavilions/Vons shopping center.simon_a6 wrote:Hi all.

Today is your lucky day, Mark. Last night, I found a location very high on my wish list - the single lane bridge from "Just My Bill" and "No Big Thing.kitt1 wrote:I still want to know where the single lane bridge is from NO BIG THING.

It's off Highway 126 where it intersects with East La Falda Way in Castaic, CA. It's called the Newhall Orchard, and the bridge leads to the location where Devon was hiding in the orange bushes after escaping prison. That whole area is/was part of the Newhall Ranch, where it seems some scene from almost every episode was shot.

Re: Locations ?
I knew that Newhall Ranch was a frequently used filming location, so I found a website about the place and stumbled on a picture of the bridge!
Regarding the House of the Rising Sun, a while back we were having a debate as to whether it was actually a place called Cal Islands. Well, let me throw this wrench in...
I recently received the call sheets for "Knight Racer" (thanks, Paul!) and it states that the restaurant shown there is Cal Islands...which looks nothing like the restaurant in the Pilot! We are still on the hunt...

Speaking of Highway (State Route) 126, I just found another location nearby!
Here is where KITT turbo-boost over Devon in "Speed Demons."

KNIGHT RIDER Locations
I'm sure I've spent the better part of December going through the 32 pages of this post. I'm absolutely stunned and amazed how it has developed a life of its own. It's all-consuming finding these locations, isn't it? ;D
I remember when this thread started in 2008 as Joe came over a while back to the Airwolf forums on airwolf.tv to ask our resident "Airwolf Location Guidebook" Guru -- Tom "Chairwolf" Higginson about potential overlaps between the two shows (and there were many). If you haven't seen it already folks, we've an equivalent of this topic (for Airwolf), except in its own forum over at airwolf.tv that is also the result of years of research by Tom. He has been consumed (pleasantly) just like you lot.
Kudos folks.
I've also done two "Airwolf" location trips in 2004 and 2008. The Cali government have certainly woken up to this fact of folks like myself who have seen this place or that on TV or film and fly in from other countries to spend time (and bucks) in the area. They've been spending a fortune on British TV networks with commercials over the Christmas 2011 period promoting the hell out of "Visit California".
I don't want to take this wonderful thread off-topic (so I started a new one with the link below) on its own, but how many of you have actually been spurred on to travel to Cali and visit a lot of these KR locations? (obviously the local resident fans are lucky enough to go wherever they want, but for the rest of you spread out over the States and in other countries -- have you made that "Knight Rider Trip" yet?
I've started a specific topic for it here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17477#p201024" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
