Why is there always a ticking clock?
Mike said this quote in last night's episode "Knight of the Living Dead", and hey, I thought, what a revelation! The main guy himself actually realized that there has been too much ticking clock in the series already. Let's check back on the ticking clocks of the seasons as of episode 6.
Ep.1 - Ticking counter on oxygen level and temperature levels when KITT was on fire.
Ep.2 - None, unless I'm forgetting something.
Ep.3 - Time countdown before the missile fired by Skyler Rand hits the nuclear site.
Ep.4 - Time countdown before the poison ends Mike's life.
Ep.5 - Time countdown on the bomb inside the truck heading for the dam.
Ep.6 - Time countdown before KITT self-destructs.
That's an amazing lot of ticking clocks and even Mike realizes it. Do you think they should tone down on the ticking clocks? Or is the ticking clock actually a suspenseful thing that's good for us viewers?
Me, I think they should tone it down a bit, give the show more variety.

It was a rather funny comment.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Brother's Keeper would be the most obvious case. With every commercial break being what is now a 24-style clock.
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"

I love it when a show is ready to poke fun at itself, and it seems KR08 is willing to do it too!

Actually KITT's self-destruct counter stopped at :16.excalibur wrote:And it ALWAYS stops with one second left Not two, not three, but ONE. All the clocks I've happened to see anyway...
Which brings me to ask...
How did the pilot and co-pilot know that KITT's self-destruct was disabled to not bail out of the plane? Were they going to "go down with the ship"?

lol, imagine the conversation between the pilots with Mike & Sarah.Charlie Brown wrote:excalibur wrote: How did the pilot and co-pilot know that KITT's self-destruct was disabled to not bail out of the plane? Were they going to "go down with the ship"?
Pilots: You told us to bail out into the stormy sea!!! And nothing happened after all!!!
I'd imagine if the plane would have the same auto-pilot control that KITT has and land the plane itself. Although I'm not sure KITT even has auto pilot anymore! Seams to be rarely used.

Jeopardy + Ticking Clock is Box Office! It's the E=MC^2 of the entertainment world. Ask any executive.
(I wonder if anyone else will catch the reference.)

Now we have a "ticking clock" for the untimely demise of cast members.
That is a computer not a sofa.......Knight of the Drones
