Why did Michael always have to save himself?

Post by tharpdevenport » Wed Aug 13, 2008 8:37 pm

Even with K.I.T.T. and R.C.'s assistance? In the pilot we see guards at the mansion, even carrying weapons as I recall. So didn't Devon ever send reinforcements?

Did F.L.A.G. has sever cut backs and have to downsize? ;-)
And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.

In the Goliath Returns episode, you do see guards around there when Garthe was busting in at the Foundation. Except, they were overwhelmed. Not enough guards to handle Garthe's mean bunch. I do think the Foundation did have a security system too, because when Michael and Kitt was coming back to the Foundation in that particular episode, KITT mentions something about the security system not being right.

Yeah, but for someplace as high-tech and upscale as the foundation.

Museum Guard (Trust Doesn't Rust) - pushover.
FLAG Guards (Goliath Returns) - pushovers.

I mean, they developed KITT and KARR here! At least they had a derivative of Kitt's AI to drive the semi sometimes. Couldn't they have done the same thing for the security system?

I think as well, it was because he was a man who didn't exist.

If he phoned through to the FLAG Security section, they'd ask him to verify his identity and simply tell him he didn't exist, then hang up.

Sometimes being shot in the face in the desert can really suck.
