Did NBC pick up the new Knight Rider series?
Hey everyone!
Has there been any word on whether or not NBC has picked up the new Knight Rider series? How did the pilot do?

We probably won't know for another month, at least- it just looks promising right now.

13 million viewers debut night, 4.7m encore night, I`d say its got a damn good chance of going to series, I read some ehere its referred to as NBC`s mega hit, we`ll all know in month.

Going by NBC's press release on the ratings for it, I think it's pretty safe to say that not only will it be a series but they'll actually put some money behind it as well. It had the highest rating in the "key" 18-49 demographic of any movie made for TV or film in the last three years.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Hopefully they'll put enough money into it to give it the slight tweaks in need AND Deserves. I think the pilot was mediocre, but I DID like it enough to want a series. I also now realize alot of scenes were cut for commercial advertising purposes.

Where do you get your info at? According to Nelson ratings the Bionic Woman back door pilot had more viewers in this demographic and to boot it was mid-week with an average of 13.9 million viewers. Knight Rider had an average of 12.7 million.PHOENIXZERO wrote:Going by NBC's press release on the ratings for it, I think it's pretty safe to say that not only will it be a series but they'll actually put some money behind it as well. Knight Rider was considered a two-hour made-for-TV movie, a "back door pilot".
Bionic Woman was considered a regular series premiere. And I believe the pilot was only 1 hour?
In any event they are two different classification of shows and so NBC's claims of the great ratings are valid.
