KR08 is simple enough.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Just my own two cents...
KRO - Knight Rider Original (The 1982-1986 series)
KR/KR2 - Knight Rider New Series (2008 - ....)
I thought about calling the classic one KRC but KRO seems to be better.
As for the new one, KR2 (or just KR) seems to fit in better than KR08 because what if the series gets extended to more than one year? Will we call it KR08-09?

I've been calling it KR08 or KR2008, and the new KITT seems to have gained the nickname KI3T, though I still call him the Three-Thou occasionally. XD
