Writer's strike has ended!

Post by scottab21 » Wed Feb 13, 2008 2:50 am

This comes straight from Variety and I posted the link down below. This has some implications on Knight Rider becoming a series. Also what about the Larson movie now? Here's the link >>>>

Yep, the writers voted 3,492 to 283 to end the strike. That's good news...

Yay! It's officially over! Hopefully the studios work something out with SAG before there's any risk of a strike there.

Anyway, Larson has been able to work on it for a short while now as WGA made a deal with the Weinstein Company a few weeks ago.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

The most important thing is that this is one less obstacle for the tele-movie to overcome to become a fully-fledged series :D :D

But congratulations to the writers, they deserved the result and well done for showing such unity. They were just right to go on strike and I was in full support of them all, after all they are the ones who actually create what we see.

The timing seems to have fallen in Knight Rider's favour the strike being resovlved just days before Knight Rider airs, that has to be a good sign.

I hope this means that Justin gets to do a Leno appearance in the next couple days now. Seeing as it's an NBC show it shoudln't be too hard to get him in there.
