Just found out from The Diecast Company website that MPC is releasing next year (first quarter of 2017) a 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am 1/16 plastic modelkit

Michael Long's original Trans-Am and I bet some guys in this community will create a KITT conversion out of it

Hmmmm...
The "drawing" leaves a bit to be desired...
The wheels ???
the budge on the hood looks like it's too much in the middle, should bigger and over to the driver's side more...
The space for the front tun signal looks a bit too large...
I hope that's just a representation and they do a bit better job on the actual model...

Here's the original release from back in 1982. I own several of these and one of the Revell 1/16 Trans am kits.

Ah, much Better Mark! Yeah, I had one of those too... gave it to a friend that had a red firebird...
Hopefully it comes with TurboCast wheel option
