I think the antenna in the back trunk in the first vid is the driver control system.

Now we really are living in 'the future'.

Add in a couple more components and the car's brain can do that for you.
A couple more components and software and you can call the car to you, remotely.
A little more software and you can even hold a conversation with this car.

Of course, KITT is still science fiction, as that car can't hold a great conversation, smash through walls or burn a hundred different types of fuel. But, dang!!! I didn't really expect to ever see a car drive itself in real life, to begin with.

By the way, the thingy in the trunk is a camera stand for filming the dash, no antenna! The antenna is very small and sits under the dash.
