KITT's buttons

Post by thetruckdriver » Sun Sep 13, 2009 9:14 am

I think most will agree that it was better in the original series where we saw MK actually press the button to do something (TB/Ski mode etc). However, can anyone name all of the buttons on the dash?

P1 to P4. I assume these had something to do with tyre pressure as they were never pushed in any episode. Even by R2D2.

Hey truck driver, I'm glad someone else here has some love for the Super Pursuit Mode. It seems like it is largely hated among the community. I liked it, especially when I was 10 years old. But in answer to your comment about the car slowing down, he didn't use the doors, he actually had an "Emergency Braking System" also one of the buttons. This activated two flaps on the rear quarter panels on the car and one large flap on the roof to pop up and interupt the air flow to allow him to stop faster, similar to the flaps used on the wings of a plane. As far as when it is on, the best thing to do is either check NBC online, they have some of the vintage shows, don't know if they are in the 4th season or not, or keep a check on Syfy, they often run Knight Rider marathons.

Maybe some of the buttons were used to gather surveillance-I mean KITT could intercept phone calls and see what people were doing. On another front, I liked SPM, with the execption of the convertible option. :kittside:
