It looks like a military jacket, to me - it might be worth checking out army surplus stores for a model similar to that. I think it's a black BDU coat, something like this, except the collar is different....and I don't know if the fabric is the same.

Found out what it is! Its a M65 regiment jacket used by the US army. There are numerous on ebay/online and I've just been to Florida mall where a couple of the fashion labels have their take on the style.....and an added price tag! I've only seen it a few times on TV but it looks like a stonewashed black?
