hey all,
Wondering who is doing the Stunt work on the new Knight Rider 2008 Series?
Any chance Jack Gill could return and get the stunts part corrected so that we do not see CGI crap!
really one of the best aspects of original show was the stunts were covered quite well.
But would be good Jack Gill got back...
He was the stuntdriver in the movie Death Race as well...
that car was ....Mustang too!

I think it's more to do with money.
If they had a big budget im sure they'd do more practicle.
But they dont just yet. Plus CGI is cheap these days.

Really?! I had no idea he was still doing that. That's awesome, they should get him back, lol.

Yeah.Even though NBC gave them a full season,it doesn't mean that they gave a bigger budget per episode.Maybe they'll do some awesome stunts in the last few episodes?

Congratulations!By reading this signature,KITT's AWESOMENESS has increased by ONE POINT!
So far KITT's power level is OVER 9,000!!!!

hey guys, resident VFX dude at Knight Rider. We'd love to do more stunts, its all a matter of cost. As the series goes on, and the costs can be amortized over more episodes, you'll see more stunt work done. CGI aint cheap, but its cheaper than destroying a Shelby GT500 Mustang

This has probably already been addressed, buts whats the issue with dressing up a V6 Mustang or standard GT into a GT500KR? I thought that's what they did in the original anyway? (ie dress up a Firebird into a more expensive looking TA?).
If your just going to launch it off a ramp, then a dressed up car is the way to go. Besides, more often than not in the original they had a stunt car with a KITT shell over the top for all those jumps they did. I fully understand the requirement to not destroy GT500KR/GT500's but I didn't believe they were ever going to do that.

Yeah at the end of the Credits it said Stunt Driver for Jason Statham -Jack Gill
Jack's the man really...his stunt driving is noticeable and VERY impressive...
anyways the only way the budget will increase is if the storylines are get a deeper more edgier as discussed..
Being a vocal critic...of the new KR 2008, i tend to agree to move from the original show...
however, lets bring the core of KR back...
More money can be earned by terminating unnecessary cast "Zoe"?? etc perhaps that could increase stunt budget
