 Hahaha... Yup... Then again, I love anything to do with Knight Rider

This remote control of KITT from Hitari is what I have been wishing for since I was a kid..... Finally!!! Maybe thats why I love it and seem so enthusiastic abt it... Kudos Hitari! With perfect lighted moving scanner that lights up better than the mini-Z or the 1/18 KITT, it also talks and there is the scanner and the turbine engine sound effects.... It doesn't get any better than this... :D A pity though that Hitari left out the KNIGHT plate at the back..... But a minor thing considering the features it has.. :D

Unfortunately mine wasn't in the best of nick when I got mine from commet. One of the red LEDs was soldered in an an angle :( It really ruined the look of the scanner so I had to get the soldering Iron out to fix it :-P after "Playing" with mine it now has afew minor scratches on the nose...ah well its a toy thats what there for. I'll need to get another and keep it in the box :D

Hmm.. Yes.. One of the LED's on mine is also a bit too high.. But its not that obvious unless someone were to look at it really up close..

Oh and how did you get those minor scratches on the nose? Did you remove the bumper? I haven't tried removing the bumper coz I think it helps prevent damaging the nose... Has anyone here tried removing the bumper?

Imranbecks, glad to hear you got one with a different frequency, Dad and I didn't know about that until we saw the display at Dick Smith the other day that had the sticker of how many megahertz each one had. Thank goodness you got different ones. You should paint one with silver at the bottom and make a KARR!

Yup... This KITT has got everything except MBS...hahahha..

Anyways, you guys didn't know abt the frequency? Actually I did know abt it too. Only after one of my friends told me abt the diff frequency of 27mHz and 40mHz then I knew  He told me abt the diff frequency in R/C cars right after you gave me the tracking number. Wanted to contact you and tell you to give me one with a diff frequency but it was too late as you had already shipped my KITT r/c out.... But luckily I got it with a different frequency... phew..

The other KITT R/C is for my younger brother you see.. And I know he doesn't like KARR... So I think it will stay as KITT...

It says delivered through Comet so don't know if it will be in Woolworths shops?

Next is always more expensive than anywhere else.

I'm feeling left out now, none in Norwich yet :(

I was just doing some drifts with my KITT R/C... Really fun doing the 180 and the 360...

Anyone tried fixing up a ramp for it to do a "jump"? After watching the bloopers of the aftermath after a KITT turbo boost... I'm just afraid of how the KITT r/c is going to land if it were to jump off a small ramp....

Anybody know how long you get out of the battery's in the RC Kitt

At any rate at least the battey's it take are a lot batter these days, the old RC Kitt from the 80's took loads of battery's.

Just wondering if its wprth getting rechargable's :?:

I think I remember something about them being rechargable but I probaly misread something.

It can last for at least 2 hrs or so after continuous play.. The batteries are included but are not rechargeable. But you can get rechargeable batteries and use it for KITT, not a problem.. Saves you a lot of money on batts if you were to use rechargeable batts especially if you intend to play with it a lot..

For me, I'm only running it everytime for abt 5 - 10 mins.. So I don't think I require rechargeable batts...

i don't think your going to play for 2 hours straight. Just recharge them every now and then.

I haven't really done any drifting with my one i will have to try it.

if it gets damaged to a bad extent you could then start doing ramps but maybe use a pillow to cushion the fall.

I got mine this morning not bad value for £30.

although on carpet it does tend to struggle a bit until it gets going, but it does make turning a nightmare.

I'm still a bit confused,, what's this turbo boost feature that makes it go faster?

Is it in fact not a featuture at all I can't see nothing to change the speed of the car.

The Voice is a nice touch if a little distorted.

But overall not bad for the money.

its just a little difference in the speed from the stick going about 1/4 up from the middle and full speed.

raining over here too. I suggest use indoors only you don't want to get stuff inside the toy its can easily get hair or leaves inside if outside.
