It will still possibly take years before we see it on the silver screen. Movies go through different script writers all the time, a process which can take a very long while.

I remember that sound effect. I am sure it was just the sound of KITT's engine running as KITT was cruising but you may be right.

Not to turn this into another HW model car thread but those knight industries stickers on the exhausts are silly because KITT is supposed to be a futuristic undercover car. They just practically advertised that it's something special by putting both the exhausts there and the stickers with the name ...

That is really bad but the one that sticks out in my mind is the one in the beginning of Brothers Keeper when we see KITT with these huge wheels as he lands inside the prison after jumping over the fence.

Yep, Kent Rider/Tony Westwood built two of those, one of which was mine but I don't own it anymore. He delivered it personally in his own amazing KITT replica. In terms of detail,it was an amazing model but VERY fragile.

It looks like a reflection of something to me.

They have torn down the KR 08 sets and closed up shot so I doubt it will happen. They have even sold off the Mustang's that were used.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but there are the familiar season 3 LED's on the pedal making it inaccurate.

The super elite will be out next year. Only the standard elite is out now.

The Modelzone.co.uk website now have the 1.18 officially for sale and no longer a pre-order so I'm going to go back in to my local Modelzone store next week and see if they have it. I've had no phone call yet.

Wow... Can't compare... The ERTL one looks good for its time, but the Hot Wheels KITT looks so much better, a lot better. Also, I didn't realize how bad the ERTL wheels looked, its totally wrong.
