Re: KITT's voicebox - explanatory notes

S1 and S2 could be: Satellite 1, Satellite 2 (a back-up link).

P1 through P4 could be the ejector seats. We saw the driver and passenger seats eject Michael and struff up out of K.I.T.T., maybe the back seats do as well and "P" indicates "Preassure".

Re: Question!

That's Don Peake's scoring. Also, it's no cover of the Axel Foley theme -- it doesn't even contain the theme!

Anyway, it's on Volume 1 of Hitchcock Media Records' "Knight Rider" scores.

Re: DH wants to resurrect 'Knight Rider' with Simon Cowell

William Daniels not asked? Voicing a few lines now and then at his age, might not be trouble -- some people enjoy working at old age. Composer Ruyssell Garcia is 95 and actively going around performing with orchestras. A relative of mine told me about a 100 year old Hindu guy who's running a maratho...

Re: Need Pictures of KITT's Underbody

As I recall, there was no specific underbody. IT changed for viewing needs. A special underbody was used when we saw it for longer periods, like when K.I.T.T. was flipped on his side by Garth's semi.

Well, if we don't get them by the beginning of November, I'm going to go ahead and speculate we won't until February next year. Once the holidays start kicking in, people will take vacations, they'll shut down for periods, reduced staff, etc.

Can somebody tell me why he's there, and what the heck this commercial is about? It's almost like some weird Chinese commercial, in regards to what it's about.

Re: Don Peake Needs Your Input on Upcoming KR Music Release!

No, no -- that list of scores/volume, was missing Volume 5. I'm saying that's probably the 2CD set, which, looking back, Peake said was for the episode "Goliath".

He said like half a year ago there was going to be a 2CD set on of complete episode, I think it was one of the Goliath ones. Don't recall. I'm betting that's Voilume 5.

Last I read, these were going to be download-only; has that changed? Non mp3, regular loseless, actually physical CDs?

Re: Knight Rider 2012 (AKA: Glen Larson's Feature Film)

I can't name a single reboot/remake that tried to please studio brass & investors, that was good and didn't slap it's core fans in the face. Too many cooks in the kitchen -- it's a lesson Hollywood fails to learn again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again,...

Re: What do you NOT want to see in a KR movie?

19. "Knight Rider 2000" -- never happened. Devin died sometimes from the end of the sries, to the new movie. 20. Obviously The Hoff is too old to portray a spunky, crime-fighting a$$ kicker, so there will need to be somebody to help. Maybe sort of a Rocky 5 thing where Hoff realizes he's t...

Re: What do you NOT want to see in a KR movie?

17. No refereces or appearences by characters from the failed spin-off series.

18. No techno music. No rap music. I nfact, the film should be prodominently score based, with little song use.

I contacted Stu Phillips and he was nice enough to reply. He said for his (and Peake's, and the one episode Morton Stevens scored) there were 181 musicians. That's a lot of holes to fill!

Re: Musicians for original KR Series music

Gary L. Coleman (percussion)
Ian Underwood (on the main title; don't know for the episodes [keyboard]; he also does flute)

Possibly Steven Ameche. He was a musician, but he turned actor.
