Or maybe unlike KARR who could stand on his own as a villan, Goliath was a far weaker plot concept, so the writers needed to have KITT calling him "metal plated behemoth" and things like that to remind the audience that we're supposed to be intimidated.

"a Peacemaker, well, well, well" errrmm.... I think KARR was refering to Eddie's "pacemaker". As in a device that keeps the heart beating in a regular rhythm. But I love that quote. Paul Frees (hope I got the name right) sounds so evil that by the last "well" I have ch...

Seems like I read somewhere of a "City car vs. Country car" rivalry between KITT and the General Lee back when they were both airing at the same time.

LOL There's actually a good reason you don't see a Star Trek toilet. Because in all likelihood the thing just converts matter to energy, just like the replicator converts energy to matter.

Do you wanna think about that? ;)

I hope the original twit that managed to programme a pyscho car was duly sacked and sent for some deep psychoanalysis. They should do psychological profiling for all those Foundation people. Some prats programmed a mad car, Garth was a complete megolamniac (perhaps no one let him join in at school)...

The idea of recurring villians can be a tricky one. The first example that springs to my mind of a good example of how to do it is (unsurprisingly) STar Trek TNG. Lore, Q, Duhrass; these were not charecters that kept just annoyingly popping back up. With each new episode they grew, different sides o...

Too remember they were SUPPOSED to dismantle KARR (Devon and Wilton both thought that was what had happened) I think KARR started going off the deep end and Wilton and Devon said "whoa we can't let THIS thing run around, he'll kill someone. Tear it down let's build another one" And then so...

I too, prefer to keep it simple, and believable, and certainly agree that its the villians, not the heroes, that make a good story. To have a good plot there must be a challenge that is difficult for the hero to overcome (The Empire, Sauron, the Romulans etc.) make the hero too invincible and the st...

Well seriously, I think the question that should be asked isn't CAN KITT use SPM and Turbo Boost at the same time, but does he really wan't to do that. I mean if he's somewhere where there are going to be obstacles coming up in his path, he probably shouldn't go so fast.

I prefer to stay a bit more realistic. He should definately have digital communications abilities, which would allow him to tap into phones, cell phones, radios, tv streams, serf the internet etc. Not to mention a GPS system that can lock onto anything and track it(as well as explaining how KITT alw...

You know what is really bad, is that alot of guys don't even want that Baywatch-ish type woman. In a way its almost as insulting to the male community when the media assumes all we want is big, well you know. ;)

Hmm. I somehow doubt that David had very much to do with Baywatch's success.

I mean, come on Jasmine Bleeth, Pam Anderson et al. in swimsuits *running* a lot (wink wink, nudge nudge). Somehow David Hasselhoff just can't compete. ;)

BUT I'm a guy.;)

And I didn't even watch the show. :d

I'm tellin' ya guys. I really would vote that (lacking any confirming knowledge) that sound was made on a program called TurboSynth. It was REALLY popular back in the 80's because it could synthesize sound waves, by utilizing a digital representation of the wave. (Just like digital audio does today)...

Hey! THat reminds me, what was the name of that show about the hi-tech helicopter that was on about the same time as Knight Rider. (It was another one of those "Knight Rider inspired" shows)?
