Is it me or did Kitt always have the same top speed in all four series? Wasn't Kitts top speed always around the 300mph...even in the earlier episodes? then in season 4 they claimed a 40% speed increase, but the top speed was still the same? of corse I could be mistaken....wouldn't be the first time...

I guess it depends on if the film is a reprise of the TV show (I.E. the same charecters) or if its an update (i.e. takes place 20 years down the track with new peple working for FLAG). David H actually said in an interview once that the original KR show started getting silly and they had gone as far as they could with it.

And in truth...that super purshuit mode was pretty silly. I'd hate to think what they would have done to Kitt if the show had continued.

I have seen pictures of Kitt where the reflection of the sky and I guess the sunlight have made him look navy blue. I have a book of the "Mouth of the Snake" episode. At the end of the book Devin reveals to Micheal that April is Devins daughter!

Has anyone else heard of this? I don't recal it ever being mentioned in the show, but the book is baed on the original script before it was edited for the show.

I don't think they are sound proof. There have been many occasions when Micheal has made comments about sounds he hears from within Kitt.

I don't think sound proofing a car was ever thought off back in the 80's...people where more interested in makeing a car talk and drive by itself :-)
