Re: IF ONLY THIS WAS POSSIBLE
To be perfect honest, it sounds like a stupid idea on so many levels. First off it degrades Kitt (and Knight Rider) to nothing more than a second rate gimmick on another TV show. Is that really how we want Knight Rider to be promoted/remembered? I don't. Secondly, Stig with a scanner on his helmet? ...

Re: What is more recognized, Dr. Who or Knight Rider?
World wide I would say Dr Who. It's been around since 1963. I don't know when it first appeared in the US but in other countries it was a family classic long before KR was even thought of. How many people don't recognize the metallic voiced "Exterminate!" call of the Daleks, or the blue po...

Re: Live Discussion - I Love The Knight Life
Was anyone else expecting that guy to turn green after he injected himself with the serum? I saw his eyes went white and had Hulk flashbacks. Other than the over used "mad scientist testing the formula on himself" plot this was a good Knight Rider episode. It had the right feel and charact...

Yeah season NOT series. So that would indicate that there's still hope for a second season.chiefsfankc wrote:read from NBC site on the description of the next episode:

Re: Where's KITT's Air Bags? Wouldn't this be funny!
And every time KI3T leaves the SSC, he says "Occupant Restraint System active." Exactly. Although it doesn't seem to work very well because Mike still gets thrown around. Maybe thats a constancy thing they need to look at. Either Kitt has a restraint system which works, and holds Mike in ...

Re: The sideways turbo boost
Nah, we've seen the underside before this and it did have the shielding. One episode that comes to mind would be A Hard Day's Knight and I'm sure we've seen it other times as well. I wonder what happened to it... Yeah we've seen it in the Kitt cave as the car's been spinning. http://i268.photobucke...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
not a bad episode, think i prefered the previous one, still not used to the new turbo boost, one question, I thought they killed off mike tracuer or what ever his last name was and made him michael knight so no one would know, but the last few eps every one still seems to know who he is ?? or is he...

Re: Is the re-boot ignoring the pilot and first episode?
As far as the continuity between the pilot and the rest of the series are concerned, I have come up with a way to keep them both in the same continuity, even though I do respect GST decision to not make them 100% continuous. Here's how I figured it out (and please try and find holes in my logic, be...

but the thing that is confusing is, his old girl friend. did you notice what she called him the first time she saw him??? she called him Michel!!! how did she know??? was she watching the show as we are doing? I mean for them he is still Mike who is supposed to be dead as other members on the board...

Re: Ratings for "Knight and the City"
Even though they should, networks don't record recordings of shows, only live viewings. And there's a very good reason for that. Just because someone records a show doesn't mean they will watch it. Ratings are all about how many people watch a show. Not how many people record it. I would agree that...

um... didn't Ki2ts tires deflate when he shut down? Like in the episode where Zachary steals Kitt and Micheal tells him to shut down in the back of the truck.

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
but there's a part of me that, I dunno, is feeling that there's still something missing. That something is continuity. The show doesn't flow from week to week with the same structure and formula. This show is a mish-mash of ideas every episode. You never know whats going on from one week to the nex...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
Now the REAL reason we saw it was because it looked cool. But I think there's enough wiggle room to go in and invent a reasonable explanation. Yeah, your right. I wish we didn't have to invent our own reasons though. Anomalies like this should be explained in the show. You often hear directors and ...

hmm... ok. I was confused in that case. I thought he said my dad.
any-hoo... I think my second point still stands though right? Mike shouldn't be going back to old friends when he's spose to be dead and has a new identity.

Re: The sideways turbo boost
I asked this question in the episode thread, but I'll ask it here as well. Can someone tell my why Kitts turbo boosters only fired on the left hand side? Normal Turbo boost provides a forward and upward boost of equal pressure to produce a jump. Why then would we suddenly and for no apparent reason ...

Is the re-boot ignoring the pilot and first episode?
In first episode we saw Mike Trucer killed off to become Micheal Knight because people where after him, but now we see him going back to visit old friends etc and basically letting them all know that "Psych! I'm not dead after all." Then we hear him talking about sharing his first drink wi...

I would really like scenes like that to be one shot so we can actually see the action.
