Re: KARR

Also, like I said in another thread, KR is full of plot inconsistencies so I wouldn't waste too much thought trying to rationalize things. To me it just makes for some great entertainment to have KARR return and if he's in his original form, bonus. The evil twin plot is always present in shows so I...

Re: Great New for KITT Mustang Replica Builders!

I'm going for attack mode so I'll need the door thingies and headlight thingies and whatever else makes different from stock.

Re: Great New for KITT Mustang Replica Builders!

Thanks, Joe! You know my GF absolutely hates you now, right  Definitely keep us posted. I may grab a GT in a year or so since it looks like T/A is dead for good and GM is using the word hybrid in the same sentence as Camaro (and the silliness doesn't stop there so I may end up a full Ford conve...

Re: KARR

Definitely, but they'd need the 3000's muscle unless KITT got some upgrades himself. See? These plots just write themselves! Give it to us, NBC!!

Re: my new car

I've owned a CFI 83 T/A and a 4bbl 83 Camaro SC and would definitely recommend getting rid of that CFI. The carb worked well for me and that little 305 Camaro was able to dust the new (at the time) 93 style Mustangs when I had it no problem. I'm running MPFI now on my replica. Good on gas and power,...

Re: KARR

How cool would it be if the Knight 2000 and the Knight 3000 teamed up to defeat KARR with mike and michael working together! That sounds cool. If Graiman has K2000 bodies lying around maybe he also has K3000 bodies that KARR could end up in. Michael and KI2000 know KARR more than Traceur/KI3000 and...

Re: Unlikely Dream Regarding Cobra Emblems and the New Series

I would have preferred the badging left off altogether. We know what it is. Could you imagine the KI2K with a screaming chicken hood decal? The T/A was the ultimate production incarnation (in 82 at least) of the Firebird and the Shelby is the ultimate production incarnation of the Mustang so it make...

Re: Knight Rider 2000 or NBC Knight Rider Movie

I would have watched a KR2000 series just as much as this. I think this new one will have more of the spirit of the original in it, but KR2000 was Shawn's story, she would have been the star if we got a series. For it's time I think KR2000 was pretty cool.

Re: Get rid of Dylan Fass!!!!!!

I kinda don't really see him sticking around. I only think he showed up at the end to tie up loose ends without slowing down the pace (going back to rescue him) other wise it would look like Mike left him to die with the mobsters.

They really (seem to) want to support the series where as GM has shunned it since KR2000.

Re: How to handle the Potiential Series Premiere

I'd like to see it open with the plane blowing up and someone saying " not to worry mate, we've got a semi trailer in the shed we can use........" That would be cool, but I feel the Sky-1 thing will only be used for international missions. The semi was as big a part of the show as KITT wa...

Just a thought...

It occurs to me that Ford supplying the new car may actually make more sense than a GM. This may very well become flame-bait so fell free to lock it if need be, I don't mean to stir the flames, just want some thoughts. Looking through the last 25 years of KR I noticed out of roughly 12 cars (KITT, K...

Re: How Graiman Can Resurrect the Foundation

I don't think they want to show all their cards in the first 2-hours so there can be many plot arcs explaining things if we get a series. A lot could have happened since 1986.

My Dad's keeping him right now, so he's good (moved to the LA area, and he's not really street legal at the moment). Needs a little routine TLC, but nothing major. Going up to visit in a few weeks so I'll get to see him then. That IROC is awesome!! That model is on my short list of cars I'm wanting ...

Re: Opinion of new Knight Rider?

I grew up with the early classic Star Trek films and the re-runs of the TOS so when Next Generation came out, I was jazzed, but ended up hating the show till about "Best of Both Worlds." After that point I really got into it and really wanted to like it more than TOS. Same with this and KR...

in case you diden't notice the original KITT was sitting right there in the garage in the beginning of the movie. Also in case you diden't notice when the close-up of the engine block was in view it said tune port injection. Those are the motors that came in the 80's late model Trans-ams. Yeah, the...

Re: KITT should have been TRANS AM

I've been saying since the prospect of a theatrical film came about years ago that KITT should be a custom one-off (a'la Knight 4000); it just seems to be the simplest solution. However, that would be rather expensive and if a company is willing to throw cars at the studio (like GM did 25 years ago)...

Hey, I want a 4000 too! Seriously thought of picking up the dilapidated K4000 when it was on eBay a few years ago, but since that baby took a mint to restore, I'm glad I didn't, but some day. I was kinda planning on getting a new Camaro in a few years, but figure maybe I ought to get a Mustang GT an...

It was explained in Trust Doesn't Rust that he has a design flaw/weak spot under his scanner. The refracted laser no doubt weakened that vulnerability further.

Replicas?

Anyone thinking of going this route? I've been kinda wargaming it for the last few months and the new Mustang is finally starting to grow on me. Found a vendor for the scanner. I'd probably go with a basic GT and add the GT500KR specific parts and badging. I'd like an "attack" mode replica...

I definitely want a 1:18 "attack" K3K to go with my ertyl KITT (which is currently serving a tour with my 25th Anniversary GI Joe figures). There is a line of 1:64 Shelby cars. I bought a 2007 Shelby GT from that (it's black with silver ralley stripping, has the same wheels as K3K, but the...
