Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight

Wouldnt it have been better to see KITT turbo boost over the villan car and have the dodge stratus slam on its brakes so it didnt hit KITT only because agent ravie (or whatever her name is) doesnt get killed. Then have Mike and Sarah kick the crap out of the villians. That would have been a lot mor...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight

Rather boring ep IMO. My favorite scene was KITT taking the explosion - very old skool KR. I was really hoping for a killer chase scene between that Super Bee and KITT. Ah well, on to next week.

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider

I don't really know anything about the acting industry and how agents and unions might play into it, but with as much as Hasselhoff loves his role in Knight Rider, would he really demand an extraordinary amount of pay? Most actors will demand whatever they please for cameos, especially if they know...

Re: Hasselhoff Puts Final Nail In Knight Rider Coffin

Sounds like someone trying to take an outdated quote and make up something from it. Since that original quote was made, Da Hoff put out a statement on video that said to give the show a chance and GST said at Comic-Con that he had met with Da Hoff about the show. I'm not saying it's a guarantee Da H...

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider

Bottom line is this. By announcing and executing this 'shake-up', NBC are admitting that the show is in trouble, ergo the show is flawed. Now, I'd say, "Do the dignified thing and just pull the plug", but I know that's not how it works in TV land. I agree that NBC clearly sees the show ne...

Re: Project Prometheus = KARR's existence

Makes sense to me. We know that Welther believed KI3T's AI to be a key to Prometheus. Considering Prometheus gives the user the ability to control weapons of mass destruction, I would not be surprised if an AI was needed to control it. Potentially having KARR be the AI behind such a terrifying power...

Re: GST@Comic Con and in light of recent cast 'revisions'

My guess would be that GST would have planned a 13 ep arc that could have served as the end of the show had they not extended it. Since we now know that the casting decisions were made a while ago, I'm sure that the character story arcs were meant to come to a head by episode 13. This also makes sen...

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider

It's still early yet to see how the stories will play out. This isn't a "hard reboot" but rather what I'd define as a "soft reboot", not too dissimilar from what happened between the TV movie and the series premiere. I never expected Torres to last the season, mostly because I th...

Re: Common Sense Media: Knight Rider 2008

God forbid that children learn that men and women are attracted to each other. When I was about that age (7ish) I saw "Blade Runner" and when a nudity scene popped up, I giggled and my mom just explained it to me. We then had a brief talk about how the stork wasn't how babies are actually ...

I'll agree with this. I see more commercials for their other shows including L&O, My own worst enemy etc. than KR. The initial promo campaign was strong and well done, but they need to keep it up.

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead

It just came to me that this new Knight Rider has nothing to do with the original series. Now I know that they show a Trans-Am in the backdoor pilot but on the new series they not once talk about the knight 2000 and now KARR is a cyborg . So folks this is a remake of Knight Rider so don’t expect to...

Re: Overnight Nielsons for Knight of the Living Dead

I don't think you can blame it on the election, or even the Obamercial as it didn't seem to affect Bones any, of course Bones currently has a stronger base. That's the thing, "Bones" already has a built in audience from 2 years worth of programming. It's harder to forget. KR is only begin...

Re: Overnight Nielsons for Knight of the Living Dead

I'd argue that the election didn't help this week either. When you don't have a show on for a week, people tend to forget. The shame is that this was one of the strongest eps to date. Hopefully it picks up next week.

Re: New *Spoiler* Sucks

Just to make sure that we're on the same page here, why exactly does Graiman want Ki3t to help Mike reveal his past? In the premiere episode, it shows that Charles knows what Torres did to Mike and that he knows once Mike finds out, he won't be happy. This indicates that Charles empathizes more wit...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead

After thinking about it overnight, there is a very plausible theory behind the original KARR CPU being used for the military vehicle by Charles. We're all assuming Charles was given a choice in the matter. Since we've seen a lot of Knight assets wound up in the hands of the government, who's to say ...

Re: Blame it on McCain?

Sorry but I have to say something about the lack of viewers for TV nowdays, the reason is very simple, there are more channels now than there were when x-files was about and due to people having a diverse view on what they do and do not like, the viewers are spread more due to difference in interes...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead

I just rewatched the scene where KI3T pulls up the pics. The first pic is actually a Mustang side view, which confuses me even more. It seems the KARR images sort of evolutionize out of it. I'm not sure what the implication is. I really do hope that TOS KARR's CPU is in there somewhere. I did notice...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead

I think this KARR is not the same one we all assumed. From the description and the schematics shown, it was another prototype that failed. My guess is the thing was used for military applications and went AWOL. I actually like the way it looks as a potential enemy. It's mobile yet at the same time h...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead

Truth be told, I wonder if this episode was a "cost saver" one, where KITT's time on the road is limited (if not non-existent) and there aren't as many FX to do as compared to a normal episode. It would make sense to offset costs in such a way, and most series wind up doing it at some point.
