can you tell me, can the model sit back in the box again and be put away once you have assembled the t-tops?
Yes, it can. It's packed like that to survive transit. For the price paid, nobody wants to receive damaged goods.

Yes, that model was put together to demonstrate a quick sequence. Any production version would have much more sounds in it.
In production the PC board would be located inside KITT. It would have the ability to come off the trailer.

Glad to hear you guys like the video/ teaser sample. Do know the sample is a hand built model cutting up a pre production elite model. So yeah, when this one would be in production the lights would work better, etc. Unfortunately, the video didn't show the (6) fog lights working, center console work...

My 1:18 Elite arrived today, I love it. Only thing I'm not thrilled with is the ejector seat......a little too sensitive for my liking. A very well done model. Hopefully my 1:43 arrives soon:) Joey. Joey- glad to hear that you like it. Did you notice with the scanner function that if you push the b...

The 1:18 KITT has been in production (since December) and is too late to make any changes to it, good, bad, or indifferent. I know it's not perfect to everyone on this board but I still stand behind it, and IMO it's still better than any other produced replica to date. Check one out up close and you...

Very nice details, I think I have said it before but well worth saying again that many details that had to be done afterwards to ERTL KITT & KARR are beautifully done already in these Hotwheels models. Before I saw KARR's rear end I assumed they had painted the top of the bumper silver as the l...

Looks nice! Can't wait to get it! The chassis underneath the model looks weird though... It did not look like that in the show...What happened to the normal exhaust pipes and undercarriage??? I wonder why Hot Wheels came out with their own touch of how the car looks underneath... The re-imagined en...

No doubt, it is very nicely done. They really gave it a lot of thought thats for sure. Was that how KITT was supposed to look like at the undercarriage? Too bad in the show, when we saw the undercarriage, it was basically the normal stocked chassis of a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, not forgetting the vis...

you may/ may not not see it in the pic, but the front nose was re sculpted, adding more of a radius to the front, as well as the fog lights/ opened grilles, and the lens covers details were re sculpted like the season 3 style, and the dashboard has the raised detail on it- correct to season one inte...

This 1:18 DCC would only be accurate for making the season one KARR. (Obvious voice box and removal of license plate deco changes needed) Season 3 had a different nose and would need a tooling change. Also, the rotating license plate feature would be useless, as the season one KARR didn't have a pla...

Oh I forgot, when I said about the joke, was because You said that the car wasn`t accurate since existing the laws and rules. Of course I don`t agree with that. If it were, Minichamps, AutoART, Exoto couldn`t to make models. Marcos: Thank you for posting more pics of your model. I'll agree it looks...

Tuske, I did´t understand what you want to say with that, since the nose and tires with hubcaps are too different of Hotwheels car. I can see that clearly. The problem is: what is good for You Isn`t good for me. So I don´t want continue with discussion, because how I can see You aren´t able to obse...

My goodness, lots of complainers on here. It's sure easy to throw stones without knowing all the information... If you knew what it was like to communicate comments to other people to hand them off to third and fourth parties (who have never seen a third gen T/A let alone an episode of KR) to execu...
