Knight Rider Legacy Discussion Thread

What is the purpose of this thread? It is not to determine what should happen with the book. Although I'm sure Joe & Richie welcome constructive input, ultimately it will be their decision to replace chapters or add photos to the book. It is not to determine who has copyrights over material. Tha...

Dexter's KITT

In the episode "Photo Finish" of Dexter's Laboratory, Dexter's sister takes pictures of his secret lab. He is worried that when his mother picks up the developed film, she will learn all of his secrets. He summons his "kit car" to chase after Mom and stop her from seeing the phot...

My Big Fat TKR Wedding

Here's some "old" news which I just stumbled upon.... The writer and star of the sleeper hit "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is Nia Vardalos, none other than the voice of Domino in Team Knight Rider. And to think we knew her when she was just a flashy sports car that dented easily... ...

Knight Rider Legacy Discussion Thread

Forgive me. Allow me to clarify: Copp and Goodman originally supported the writing of the Knight Rider Legacy book. They provided interviews and other material to Joe and Richie, the two co-authors of the book. Absolutely. No questions asked. However, they were never "appalled" or "ag...

The Knight Rider Legacy book saga

Considering that I've been right smack in the middle of most of the recent debates, I will fully and shamefully accept the titles of being both "petty" and "crazy". You'll notice I also sign my name over there as "mosthatedperson@teamknightrider.com". I certainly did no...

The Knight Rider Legacy book saga

It just occurred to me that with all the damage control I've been worried about this week, I never apologized for what I did. I do not think it was wrong of me to contact iUniverse.com regarding the book. In my opinion, I believe I was treated unfairly and had a right to react accordingly. However, ...

Not only is Joe "allowed" to post here, he is encouraged to do so. He is now and always has been free to post on this board. Although he has been a regular member for some time, he never was much of a "very frequent" poster (in terms of posting messages on a daily basis) so I thi...

the book

At this point it is completely out of my hands. The authors need to make the appropriate corrections to the book. That could happen tomorroow, next week, or next month. I am not involved with that process.

Edward, the problem HAS been resolved. My material is in their book. It is going to be removed. That process takes time.

The Knight Rider Legacy book saga

Adam, because they are personal feelings I don't think we should get into the details leading up to my decision not to work on the book. I'll say this much: it was not a matter of pride, it was a matter of principle. Whether intentional or not, you seem to be suggesting that I was somehow obligated ...

The Knight Rider Legacy book saga

There is a temporary hold on purchasing the Knight Rider Legacy book. This is a timeline explaining the reason why. This board takes copyright infringement very seriously. How many times has someone come to this board announcing a new webpage, only to be berated about using other peoples' photos and...

Knight Rider Legacy email request

The more I think abuot it, the more I realize it doesn't matter how I made the request. I've been told that the book delay potentially puts the entire KR community at risk. If that's truly the case, then I think it's definitely the kind of situation where a moderator should see an original copy of a...

Knight Rider Legacy email request

Here's the distinction: I am annoyed that the email exists in the first place. I am NOT annoyed that it wasn't sent to me. That's just the way these things play out. In terms of the big picture, my name not being included on a cc: list is nothing. I don't think it was cowardly, I don't think it was ...

Knight Rider Legacy email request

Let me jump in here real quickly... I have no problem with the fact that I was not on the mailing list for that message. Why should I be? I didn't email both authors, so why should they feel obligated to include me? As twisted as it sounds, that is completely fair to me. However, it was inevitable t...

When you consider that we put this discussion on hold September 11th, in an attempt to pause to reflect about what is really important in life, this "news" about the book is basically only 2 days old. Joe and I have been emailing eachother, but for whatever reason he is not around on this ...

The most obvious nitpick in the entire series

I think the nose is 10 times as subtle as the voice box with the huge letters saying "Knight 2000" on them in the pilot!
