Re: Are we as 'fanatical' as "trekkies"???

Thanks Sue for the picture. That was way cool. I'm into Star Trek. I have some toys and books and a TNG uniform. My favorite thing is Doctor Who. Oh and the anti Star Trek series is Blakes 7. Those who post here seem to be less fanatical about KR. Doctor Who fans get get seriously uptight about thin...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: A Hard Day's Knight

Rant/ One of the reasons why Bionic failed is because NBC kept ordering rewrites/reshoots. Rant Over/ The episode was similiar to Mission Impossible in many ways. I guess we're just going to have to accept this new KR is a team effort more so than the original and plots are going to be mostly epsion...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Iguana

I thought it was all in good fun. Lots of humor which worked for me. I liked the underwater KITT scene ala The Spy Who Love Me. I think they were going for a funny episode and for me it worked. I can't think of any major gripes. I'll have to watch it again as my TV signal kept breaking up. digital T...

Montana Knights (New Series Fan Fiction)

I found this story on another forum. It's not the Shakespeare of fan fiction but it isn't bad. There are some funny lines in it. It's short (it doesn go on and on) and G rated. It isn't a convoluted story either. The story does have a point. Some of you here stated that this type of story would be i...

NBC/Ford Giving Away Pink Mustang

Sorry if this isn't in the right place. I thought this might be of interest to some of you. NBC/Ford in a promotion for Kath and Kim and also to raise awareness for breast cancer are giving away a limited edition pink Mustang. The contest is going to be on the new Kath and Kim show. I know it isn't ...

Re: Live Discussion Thread - Journey To The End Of Knight

Bravo, much much better than last week's episode. Dancing with the Stars wasn't on so I hope the ratings will be better this week. My only tiny complaint is some of the green screen effects could be cleaned up a bit. The writing was much improved and wasn't so super fast but still exciting. The acto...

Re: Episode 1: What you didn't like

Overall I enjoyed it. I could nitpick on the truck but I think the kids will like that. I didn't like the KR under the car. For the most part I did think the look of it was pretty flashy. I liked the cave and the computer effects. There were too many characters introduced at a super fast pace. The s...

Re: I think I know why they used the Blue Neon

People are complaining about the KR under the car. I wonder if that was done as a trademark symbol of some type. The Kenner toys had a big red Knight 2000 on the side I wonder if this is somthing similiar.

Re: Adventure shows for kids?

The problem is though advertisers don't want a family audience. American primetime network television is designed to appeal to the 18-49 demographic. That is who the advertisers wants watching their ads so that's what the networks create programs for.

William Daniels was on the Season Premiere of Boston Legal

William Daniels was on the season premiere of Boston Legal last night. He played a judge who was presiding over a big tobacco law suit. He had little screen time. It looks like he hasn't fully retired from acting. Shatner was great and so was James Spader. The case was kind of blah but it did raise ...

Re: Life sized cardboard stand ups at a theater near you

I worked for Regal. They do not like pictures being taken inside, in the lobby or even of the outside of their theaters. It's company policy. It's something they are touchy about. As for the confusion about TV show advertsing in their theaters. Regal has promoted a number of NBC shows in the past li...

Re: KITT Stolen in Toronto

This was not a publicity stunt! Search youtube for multiple angles of the theft. You can clearly see that normal people are walking around right in front of the car. If it was a stunt the street would have been clear of all danger. Well if it's a real theft I think it's odd that: None of the reputa...

Knight of the Rising Son: Meh just meh. At first I thought the episode was going to be like a vintage Kung Fu movie and some scenes played out like that. There was some impressive stunt work from some of the stunt men in the ninja suits. The story didn't really go anywhere. It was sort of predictabl...

Circus Knights: This was better than The Greatest Show in the Galaxy. This episode worked for me. It had a very lively setting. I'm not a big circus buff but I did enjoy this. We were able to see the animals, performers, rides and games which made the episode interesting. I also though they did a go...

Knight Strike: Yuck, blah. I thought this epsidoe was pretty boring. There wasn't much to it. there were few action scenes. The impression I got was this must had been one of those rushed episodes. The dialogue was really hokey and it was "just the facts ma'me" kind of dialogue which one w...
