When I was a kid I wasn't too impressed by electronic gadgets and flashing lights. What really caught my fantasy was the fact that the car was intelligent, capable of driving itself and helping michael as a living thing. In my opinion this feeling can be recreated in the years 2K too.

Just to put to rest the turbo part. You won't hear a turbo cause that model mustang is supercharged and you do hear the wine of the supercharger. But I do like the old exhaust sound better. And that is very sad. Product placement should not interfere with artistic choices. Guys, I am not whining bu...

A friend in California was asking if they got it right about the car - filling up for fuel ; I thought was odd as I thought the Knight 2000 was full efficent; I haven't seen the new film yet; I hope it comes out in England soon but just curious. In my opinion that was a very lame scene. It has alre...

all we need to see is the mustang turbo boost and the movie probably wont get off the ground... I keep loving the idea of a Knight Rider movie by its original creator. But, honestly thinking, I fear that this project will never see the light. If the movie needs a web petition and some forum polls t...

I know this is a stretch but I think the voice box needs to be altered....I actually think, after watching the pilot online again, that the voice was more believable from the original show because of the voice box. It didn't look computerized enough, and it's almost like, b/c of that, you believe i...

I have to agree. Knight Rider is fantasy and KITT needs the "wow" factor to make you think that the car is more like an alien starship than a black Mustang. In my opinion, realism will not work for Knight Rider.

You know when KITT's interior is done right if people watching inside the car are amazed and stunned, like in the original show. The "wow" effect.

Very nice. Keep the original layout and turn the color theme to red, maybe.

Additionally, if you use a car that exists, but isn't already known to be a "cool," people won't think it's cool in the movie either. For example, even with CGI, a minivan wouldn't fit the part. Yes, you are right. I was thinking about cars that are beautiful but are not muscle cars. They...

Sorry guys, I am not into the muscle car scene so I don't know every single brand and model. Talking from an abstract point of view, don't you think that most of the proposed cars are too expensive to appear in a show where stunts and acrobatics are so deeply involved? In my opinion, all we need is ...

- How is KITT not a mystery car? No one knows what it's going to do or what it actually will look like (specifically) until it's decided to reveal it? Short of the red scanner light and shiny black mirror polished finish, all the general public can do at this point is speculate what car it will be ...

KITT being built vs KITT revealed as a mistery car. The latter worked very well in the original pilot. I was totally blown out by that wonderful black car that, suddenly, started driving herself and talking! As for now, KITT is not a mistery car anymore so that kind of theatrical choice would not ha...

In my opinion there is no need to do a revolution. You can keep the idea, the concept, the layout, the look and feel of the original dash and modernize it as much as you want without having something completely different. A brilliant designer is surely able to come up with some good idea to preserve...

Welcome back Victor. Having watched the NBC pilot, and having liked some of the themes of the show, I have to admit that my thirst for some pure and original Knight Rider has increased. KR 2008 is not what I used to like. I respect what NBC is doing to appeal a new generation of fans but I feel that...

In my opinion the story was weak, I don't think that Parros is totally wrong. The Prometheus, the satellites network thing is sort of a cliché. Nevertheless the show has some interesting acting from Deanna Russo.

So i finally watched the show. I am a Knight Rider purist so I had to struggle to keep an open mind. Well, it was not perfect and it needs some work but, you know, I kinda liked KR 2008. There is some heart buried under this new Ford commercial. I loved Grayman house and all the weird living robotic...

KITT sounds warm, friendly, ingenuous, kind of childish and i *love* this! I would have hated a bully car. This kind KITT is much more enjoyable and close to the original.
But, was it really Kilmer's voice?

As a Knight Rider, Trans Am and Daniels purist, well, I am becoming accustomed to the feel of the new show. Two very different cars that define two different worlds. I can live with that
